STAINED GLASS SUNCATCHER

- Materials needed:
1. Ruler
2. Sharpie or permanent black marker
3. Colored Markers
4. Tape
5. Black paper

- Steps:
1. On a transparent paper create intersecting black lines using a sharpie or a black marker
2. Start coloring the shapes created with vibrant colored markers
3. Cutout a black border to outline your creation
4. Finally, tape your suncatcher on a sunny window.

RAYS’ FUN TIP: experiment with size. Create bigger sun-catchers and watch the sunlight shine through ☀️

HELAL RICE KRISPIES (adult assistance required)

Ingredients: - 1/4 cup of butter - 4 cups of miniature marshmallows - 5 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal

Recipe:
On low heat melt the butter in a large pan.
Add marshmallows and keeps stirring for two minutes
Remove from heat
Add cereal to the melted marshmallow and stir till thoroughly coated
In a buttered pan, firmly press the mixture creating an even and flat surface.
Finally, allow your child to cut their favorite shapes using cookie cutters and enjoy this yummy treat.

RAYS’ FUN TIP: if you don’t have cookie cutters it will be great if you create spherical Rice Krispie treats resembling cannonballs.
