⭐The sTARTUp Lab team summarised our activities and brought out some highlights from this journey. Of course, it is impossible to put all these years into words but here it is 👇

sTARTUp Lab, formerly called Idea Lab, started its journey in 2013 and will cease operations in December 2023. 🌟

🦄 Idea Lab's activities gained real momentum with the launch of the all-Estonian pre-incubation programme STARTER. 8 higher education institutions and a large number of institutions and mentors operating in the business landscape contributed to the development of STARTER.

🔥 The STARTERtartu programme has inspired and supported the development of Tartu students' business ideas since 2016. In addition, the sTARTUp Lab of the University of Tartu has coordinated the implementation of the STARTER programme in Pärnu and Narva colleges. A total of 337 teams have completed the STARTERtartu, STARTERpärnu and STARTERnarva programmes. 💪

🎉Congratulations! 🎉
Based on the jury's scores, 7 teams were selected to advance to the Delta X final competition, which will take place on December 14, 2023, in the Delta Center of the University of Tartu.

Teams who were selected:
💡 Another Round - lithium battery collection and recycling system service.
💡 FoodTracker - an application that helps you keep track of food expiration dates.
💡 KOIT - programming learning platform for schools
💡 Parcare - an application that brings together the owner of the parking space and the parker.
💡 Urbanalytics - an application that allows citizens to provide the local government with real-time information about urban maintenance problems.
💡 Vana Lugu - personal audio tours based on interests and hobbies for visitors to the city of Tartu, which allow visitors to discover the city at their own pace.
💡 WoofMates - an application that brings together dog owners and creates an opportunity for dogs to socialize.

The preliminary round videos were evaluated by:

🌟Ants-Oskar Mäesalu (entrepreneur and developer, co-founder of TRIT OÜ),
🌟Taavi Tamm (entrepreneur and mentor, MyGames growth manager, PRIA service design advisor),
🌟Piret Arusaar (programme manager of the entrepreneurship education program Edu jaTegu STARTER ).
