On 11 September, join the CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub community at TalTech - Tallinna Tehnikaรผlikool for the hands-on workshop "From Risk to Evidence: Cybersecurity Management & Forensic Readiness".

Designed for managers and professionals with a basic technical background, the session will connect two essential perspectives: cybersecurity risk management and forensic readiness.

Participants will explore how to:
โš”๏ธ Identify and communicate cybersecurity risks more effectively,
โš”๏ธ Understand what forensic readiness means in practice,
โš”๏ธ Map the evidence available across organisational systems,
โš”๏ธ Assess how prepared an organisation is to respond when an incident occurs.

The workshop will combine expert input with hands-on group exercises based on realistic scenarios, led by Raimundas Matulevicius and Lukรกลก Daubner from the Tรœ arvutiteaduse instituut, University of Tartu.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช As part of the Czech Presidentโ€™s state visit to Estonia, a business delegation meeting took place at the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science. We exchanged ideas for the research and collaboration. Special attention was given to ongoing research projects such as CHESS Cyber-Security Excellence Hub (coordinated by Masaryk University), Secure-NET: Enhancing Cross-Sectoral Collaboration in Cybersecurity (coordinated by the University of Tartu), (coordinated by Masaryk University), and (coordinated by Brno University of Technology).

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช The activities carried out within these projects contribute to strengthening digital resilience and advancing key areas of cybersecurity, while also having a broader geopolitical dimension. Both the Czech Republic and Estonia are countries that, due to their strategic positions and membership in the EU and NATO, face increased pressure from cybersecurity threats. These joint initiatives therefore focus not only on technological development but also on protecting critical infrastructure, ensuring data security, and fostering Europe's long-term resilience.
