Peadar Callaghan of Tallinn University's Game Learning Group was invited to speak at the International School Principals Conference held in Istanbul this December. He delivered a workshop on cybersecurity concerns for children and the importance of taking a playful and game-based approach to this education. He was also one of the experts in the round table discussions being held about the impact of new technologies on education. The conference offered opportunities to discuss potential collaboration on future projects and share best practices in modern education. In addition to the conference, he was part of discussions hosted by the Department of Education in Istanbul and toured several schools to see how Turkey is approaching the use of technology in educational settings (https://ispc.okulyoneticileri.org.tr).
