TES Flea Market 13.10.23

Thank you to everyone who participated in making the TES Flea Market on October 23rd a success! It was a fun and enjoyable event for all who attended. The youngsters had a great time improving their selling skills, while the more experienced adults were happy to sell and had a chat over tea or coffee.

Summer Reading Ice Cream Award Party 03.10.23:

On Tuesday, TES community celebrated our Summer Reading tradition with an ice cream party for children from P2-S2. Each participating child received a unique TES bookmark from the Parent Council. It was heartening to see the excitement and joy on the faces of our children who did a fabulous job of reading during the summer. We extend our congratulations to our top performer reading over 5000 pages over the summer. Well done!

On Tuesday, 29.08 we will hold our traditional Welcome Back Day! As in previous years, each cycle will have a dedicated time to come to school and meet with your class teacher for a short introduction.

For families who are new to TES, we, the Parent Council, have organised a special welcome in our Assembly Hall before each general session. During this time, staff and parent ambassadors will be available to answer any questions you may have and help get you oriented within our community. These meetings will take place before the general welcome for each cycle and note that coffee, tea, and pastries will be sold in the TES Assembly Hall as well.

Summer Cooking Camp👩‍🍳

We are excited to announce that this year, for the first time, Tallinn European School will organise a Summer Cooking Camp! 😋

The cooking classes are designed for children aged 7 to 13 years old.
Students from outside of the school can also join.

The topic of the camp is "Kitchen is like a laboratory".

During the Summer Cooking Camp, children will learn about :

🍳Different methods, and flavors with an emphasis on eating healthy

🍳Choosing fresh ingredients for cooking from Bazaar

Today we celebrate the European Day of Languages! This day was established to value the multilingualism in Europe and to promote language learning, as well as to bring together people from different nationalities and cultures. 🥳🥰🤩

⭐️ Thanks to all who participated in the Parent Council Virtual Coffee Meeting for New Parents just now! It was so nice to meet one another and spend some time sharing information about the school and other practical information about life in Tallinn.
