✨ TalTech Delegation in Singapore! ✨

Our Summer School team member, Maarja, was part of the TalTech delegation visiting Singapore. During our visit, we had an inspiring meeting with Institute of Technology (SIT) discussing plans for the future. 🚀

SIT’s campus left a lasting impression – a state-of-the-art learning and research environment that fosters student growth in the best possible way!

We also had the pleasure of visiting the Embassy of Estonia in Singapore, where we received a warm welcome. A big thank you to His Excellency Priit Turk and the embassy team for their kind hospitality! 🇪🇪🇸🇬

❄️ Next Generation Governance Microdegree – Winter School 2025 ❄️

The Next Generation Governance Microdegree Winter School brought together passionate learners, experts, and practitioners to explore the future of governance in an ever-evolving digital world. 🌍💡

This winter school served as the grand finale of the Microdegree program. Since October, participants have been delving into real-world challenges in digital governance, policymaking, and public sector innovation through online sessions. The hands-on program in Tallinn featured study visits to key institutions, insightful meetings with high-level policymakers, and engaging group work, culminating in final presentations.

A huge thank you to all the speakers, mentors, hosts, and participants who made this winter school a success! Your ideas and contributions are shaping the next generation of governance. 🚀

🌍 The Tallinn University of Technology is hosting Next Generation Digital Government Microdegree for the second time! 🎓

The program focuses on introducing the principles of digital government and e-governance 📱 to participants from abroad. There are 15 scholarship spots 🏆 available for participants from Armenia, Georgia, Kenya, and Moldova, supported by ESTDEV – the Estonian Centre for International Development. 🇪🇪

👩‍🏫 The program consists of two parts:
1️⃣ An online course where we will acquire basic knowledge and participate in interactive sessions with experts. 💻
2️⃣ A 10-day winter school in Estonia, where we will visit public and private sector institutions and meet with practitioners. ❄️

📜 At the end of the program, participants will present their projects on e-governance and receive feedback from Estonian digital government specialists. 🚀

Our Next Generation Digital Government Microdegree group graduated last week 🥳

They finished 3 online sessions, lots of independent work and one-week winter school in TalTech - Tallinn University of Technology
During the winter school the participants met with different lecturers and visited many institutions in Tallinn - such as e-Estonia, Riigikogu, SMIT - Siseministeeriumi infotehnoloogia- ja arenduskeskus, Cybernetica, Trinidad Wiseman, Majandus- ja Kommunikatsiooniministeerium, Riigi Infosüsteemi Amet

We had a lots of fun and great synergy, thank you all!

Today we kicked-off the Next Generation Digital Government international micro-degree program! 15 scholarship students from Armenia 🇦🇲, Georgia 🇬🇪, Kenya 🇰🇪 and Moldova 🇲🇩 will get a representative overview of e-governance, digital state and change management.

The lion's share of the program is independent online learning, supplemented by sessions with lecturers and experts. The course concludes with a 5-day winter school in Estonia in February, during which the participants will have a first-hand insight to Estonian digital infrastructure and best practices on site.

To pass the program, participants will go through e-learning materials, complete homework, and finally present a project based on their specific digital solution. These presentations will be evaluated by Estonia’s digital state experts.

The project is supported by ESTDEV - Estonian Center for International Development Cooperation.
