🍍Summer in the city feels different when there’s somewhere to go.

Dance classes are a great way to learn the steps, understand the rhythm, and feel more confident in your body.

⭐️ From July, we’d love to welcome new students to our solo salsa classes.
Whether you have never danced before and simply want to try something new, solo salsa is a great way to stay active, learn a new skill, and spend summer in a good company. No previous experience needed.

We will learn new steps and their variations, work on body movement and technique, and gradually bring everything together into dance combinations 🫡

Classes take place in the centre of Tallinn at Lootsi 8/1:
• Mondays 10:00–11:00
• Thursdays 18:00–19:00

If you have been looking for a way to add a little more movement to your life, we would be happy to meet you.

Today we celebrate the birthday of the person behind Your Body & Mind.

Kamilla is a psychologist, teacher, and someone who has spent years helping people feel more confident, present, and connected through movement.

Behind all of this is a great deal of care, dedication, and the ability to create a space where people feel welcome exactly as they are.

Happy Birthday, Kamilla! ⭐️

Thank you for your energy, passion, and everything you bring to the people around you. We are grateful for your ideas, curiosity, and ability to inspire others to keep growing, both on and off the dance floor.

And now we’d like to give the floor to Kamilla herself:
“I wish everyone to believe in themselves. Despite all the difficulties and pain - continue doing what you love and what is right for you. One of the hardest but the most important things is the art of being yourself. Learn this art and never betray yourself”

Dance is always more than a fun evening, good music, and time spent in good company.
Some changes happen more quietly, almost without you noticing.

Posture changes. People begin to pay attention to how they sit, stand, and move throughout the rest of their day.

The relationship with the body shifts too. It becomes easier to notice signals that used to go ignored: tension, fatigue, or changes in energy levels.

Many people find that, for one hour, everything else stays outside: work, responsibilities, and the endless to-do list. There is simply a regular space to return to yourself.

Sometimes life outside the studio changes as well. People start going out more, meeting new people, and saying yes to things they might have avoided before.

What’s interesting is that almost no one comes to their first class expecting any of this. Most people simply want to learn how to dance, but for many, it becomes something more.

If you’ve been dancing for a while, what has changed for you since your first class?
And if you stopped coming, what made you step away?

When people first come to a dance class, they usually have a reason for starting.

Some want to feel more confident around strangers. Others want a hobby that gets them out of the house. Some simply want to try something new and see what happens.

People come to learn how to dance, but they weren’t expecting: a source of energy, enjoyment and emotional reset. A reason to make time for yourself during the week.
It becomes a way to switch off for some time, leave everyday worries behind and focus on the present moment.

Maybe that’s why these two questions often go together:
Why did you start?
What has changed since then?

Never danced before? Not a problem. It’s something that was true up until now.
Everyone who dances with us also started from scratch.

Some people arrived thinking they weren’t made for dancing.
Some came just to try. That was quite a while ago and they’re still here ⭐️

And summer actually makes starting easier. It’s a good time to start something because you want to, not because it’s a new year or a new Monday or part of some plan to be a better version of yourself.

Life moves differently too:
– more music
– longer evenings
– more spontaneous plans
– more energy outside the usual routine

So if you don’t have any experience, that’s the perfect time to begin from 🌱

We just launched a beginner’s course built exactly around that idea: you come as you are, we break down the fundamentals step by step, and we start dancing together

Starting something new is often harder than it seems. Especially when it comes to dancing.

It can feel like you’re supposed to be confident, coordinated or naturally good before you walk into a class. But being a beginner means you get to discover everything for the first time.

This June, we have a short beginner’s solo bachata course — a one-month run designed to help you step into something new ⭐️

This course is for people who:
– have been thinking about dancing for a long time
– want a little more movement, energy and emotions in everyday life
– feel tired of same routine and want summer to feel different

No partner or experience required.
You’re officially allowed to explore the movement, make mistakes, laugh, and slowly start feeling more comfortable in your own body.

Classes take place once a week on Monday 11:00–12:00 and Thursday 19:00–20:00 at Lootsi 8/1, Tallinn city centre.

If you’ve been thinking about it — this is a good time to go. Send us a message and we’ll sort out the details❤️

Summer is almost here ☀️
The days are getting longer and life slowly becomes less rigid than usual.
June isn’t exactly the best month for discipline, but it might be the best one for doing things simply out of enjoyment.

Some people leave for the countryside or finally read the book they bought back in winter. And some just lie down and stare at the ceiling which is honestly a perfectly valid summer plan too 🌿

We dance. Not instead of beaches or slow evenings outside, but somewhere alongside them.
Summer has a unique way of making movement feel easier — both physically and emotionally (we’ve checked). There’s usually a bit more openness, and a stronger desire to simply try something new 🍉

So if you’ve been craving something new but not overwhelming, let’s dance together ❤️

Summer is a good time to try something new through curiosity, enjoyment and new experiences 🍉

On May 24, we’re holding a dance-movement training that combines movement, breathing and working with your emotional and physical state through the body. For many people, it becomes not only a new experience, but also a place where movement turns into a tool for working with tension, emotional state and the way we experience ourselves physically.

☘️This training is built around Kamilla’s approach as a psychologist, dance teacher and body-oriented therapy practitioner, combining structure, therapeutic practices and supportive guidance throughout the process.

This kind of work helps you slow down, release tension and reconnect with yourself through movement and body awareness 🍀

*No dance experience needed — this training is not about performing or “getting the steps right”.

Please note that the session will be held in Russian.

*Although if your goal is to dance like Kamilla in the video, we do have regular salsa and bachata classes for that.
