🆕The pool of experts and trainers on was launched this summer in the framework of the New Power in Youth Strategic Partnership (NPiY).

It is composed of 3️⃣1️⃣ experts with diverse backgrounds and experiences from all across Europe to support the activities of the partners of New Power in Youth and improve the implementation and advancement of as part of the priority of participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement.

How can art boost pupils' civic engagement and democratic citizenship❓🎨

The European Commission has launched a call for tenders to explore how schools and artists can work together to enhance pupils’ civic engagement and democratic citizenship education through participatory artistic and cultural activities in and around schools.

We're on a journey to promote participation in democratic life❗️📣

🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️Yesterday our team enjoyed spending a day together exploring the natural beauty of the Soomaa National Park in Estonia🇪🇪 while bog shoe hiking👣 with our guide Edu. This day allowed us to welcome our new colleague Alina to the SALTO PI team.

🎯Earlier this week we had a full day working on our strategy and starting to plan our activities for 2025 to keep promoting in Europe with and the 🇪🇺

📣New survey on young people's mental health & well-being😌

The Youth Partnership invites experts, organisations and institutions in the field to share their knowledge and experience by 31 July 2024.

ℹ️The survey is part of the research initiative aiming to map existing and upcoming policy processes and practices at national and European levels, while further exploring the different triggers that aggravate young people’s mental health and well-being (socioeconomic, climate, conflict, digital transformation, working conditions, etc.).

📣Take part in a new survey on cross-sectoral practices!

👉The strategic partnership New Power in Youth collects inspiring practices/projects of youth participation in democratic life through cross-sectoral cooperation as part of a mapping activity.

➕The analysis results will be shared during the Participation Forum in November 2024 followed by a publication and an article featured on the Participation Resource Pool.

Together with Instituto de la Juventud de España, Injuve🇪🇸, the Spanish National Agency for Youth, we had the pleasure last week of hosting CIOST, the annual staff training for communication and information officers of the National Agencies for the EU Youth programmes and .

💫Around 60 participants from 27 National Agencies were present in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria🇮🇨, for 3 days of workshops, presentations, peer-to-peer learning, coworking and networking sessions. With experts and partners from the European Commission, Eurodesk, RAY Network and Rescogita, we discussed and , and shared relevant data and updates on the European Youth programmes. We also got the input of Asociación Mojo de Caña, a local youth organisation, on the specific challenges faced by . Last but not least, we were glad to welcome some EuroPeers International in all our activities!🤩

Many thanks to the hosting team of Injuve, Carmine Rodi Falanga for the facilitation, to all the speakers and partners for joining us, to Gonzalo Peralta, the young local artist who created the beautiful CIOST Awards trophies, and to all the participants and members of the network for their active and meaningful participation in this inspiring event!🙌
