🏛️ Estonia Hosts Georgian Architects: Exploring Architecture, Innovation and New Connections ✅

💬 “Openness and willingness to cooperate are the key components of the study visit. The new generation of Georgian architects met the new generation of architects in Estonia; The main feeling from the meetings is that we are stronger together, both in Georgia and in international cooperation, and will take steps toward the future,” told CEO of the Visionest Institute Anu-Mall Naarits.

🎯 As part of the Architecture Trampoline international study programme, nine Georgian architecture companies travelled to Estonia and Finland to explore different approaches to architecture, business, sustainability and international cooperation.

🌍 The study visit brought together professional meetings with architecture organisations, professional offices and other institutions, visits to architectural and cultural sites, networking opportunities and participation in the Tallinn Architecture Biennale 2026.

🎯 In Estonia, the study visit included meetings with architecture organisations, professional offices and other institutions, as well as visits to cultural and architectural sites across Tallinn.

🤝 The visit also gave the participants an opportunity to present their own work, exchange experiences with Estonian professionals and make connections that may provide a basis for future international cooperation.

On 8 September, 15 architects representing 9 Georgian architecture practices arrived in Estonia to begin the Architecture Trampoline Study Visit, organised by Visionest Institute in Tallinn and Helsinki.

🏛️ Over the next few days, participants will meet Estonian and Finnish architecture professionals, visit leading practices, explore architecture and urban development projects, and take part in professional discussions and B2B networking.

🏛️ The visit is an important part of Architecture Trampoline, a programme focused on helping Georgian architecture practices strengthen their export readiness, international positioning, and connections with European markets.

🔹 We’re also pleased to have our colleagues from UNDP Georgia joining us during the visit.

🔹 Funded by the European Union and implemented by Visionest Institute with the support of UNDP Georgia and ESTDEV – Estonian Centre for International Development, the initiative brings practical international experience and professional connections closer to Georgian architecture businesses.

Georgia’s design and marketing agencies are stepping onto the European stage.

🚀 During their study visit to Finland and Estonia, five creative Georgian agencies explored Europe’s innovation ecosystems, from Estonia’s digital-first society to Finland’s forward-thinking creative companies.

🌐 Through hands-on meetings and B2B connections, they gained real-world insights into how creative services scale across markets.

👩‍💼👨‍💼 The study tour follows an intensive training programme for small and medium-sized enterprises that helped them strengthen their export skills, sharpen their business offers, and prepare to compete internationally.

👜🤩Alumni Success Story: A Georgian brand built on craftsmanship, creativity, and a vision to reach beyond borders.

Founded in 2015, COSMO has grown from a creative idea into a successful leather accessories brand with 11 stores across Georgia. With its unique COSMO Open Workshop concept, the brand has created a space where customers can not only discover the final product but also experience the craftsmanship behind it.

Today, we are sharing COSMO’s journey as one of the alumni of the “Trade Fair Assistance for SMEs in Georgia” program - a story of growth, learning, and taking meaningful steps toward international markets.

Through seven months of training, mentorship, and participation in European trade fairs, including MIPEL Milano, COSMO gained new perspectives on export strategy, international positioning, and connecting with global buyers.
