Admission to the IB Diploma Programme has started! 📖

The IB Diploma Programme is for you if you wish to choose your own subjects and improve your skills in the best possible way. In the programme, you will be able to focus most on the subjects you feel confident in and wish to continue studying after you graduate.

▪️ The programme
The programme is in English and lasts for a total of three years, consisting of one pre-year and two years of the diploma program. To study in an international curriculum, students must have great self-management and time management skills. The studies alternate between classroom learning and practical classes in laboratories and study centres.

▪️ Pre IB
Before the two-year IB Diploma Programme, we have a pre-IB year (grade 10) for the students to get to know themselves as well as the subjects taught in the Diploma Programme. This is so that they can better decide what subjects they would like to learn at the higher level and at the standard level.

▪️ International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
In the IB Diploma Programme (grades 11 and 12), the student creates their own study plan by choosing six of the 16 available subjects. Three of these will be at standard level and three at higher level. Thanks to their individual study plan, the student can focus on the field that interests them most, thus supporting their later career choices.

▪️ Scholarship
If a student is active in extracurricular activities, represents the school and has very good grades, they can apply for a scholarship that covers all or part of their tuition fee.

▪️ International diploma
The IB diploma is accepted globally and highly valued. The best universities around the world, including Cambridge and Oxford, welcome graduates of the IB Diploma Programme.

▪️ Student housing
The dormitory is only a few steps from the school. It has double and triple rooms with internet access and Wi-Fi. Washing machines and dryers are also available for students.

Help us to do good!

We are the 11th-grade students from IB Audentes International School, Keete-Lumina Tali, Karola Suviste and Rosa Ketola. This year we are organizing the charity “Christmas Miracle” with Dr Antonova from Tallinn Children's Hospital. The miracle of Christmas helps to put a smile on the face of those who unfortunately have to spend their Christmas in the hospital fighting for their lives.

Year after year, this project has reassured us that miracles do happen. This charity is dedicated to the oncology department of Tallinn Children's Hospital. Many children have to spend their Christmas and New Year's Eve in hospital, and families struggling with such difficulties need both moral and material support. Nevertheless, the sufferers are the children who should feel the joy, care and love of Christmas in one way or another.

Thanks to you, the "Santa's little helpers" give each child a personal and meaningful gift that has been agreed with the child's parents in advance, and we know for sure that this gift is something very special for the child. On Christmas morning, every child finds this gift, which has been put there by our "Santa's little helpers". And that's how the miracle of Christmas is born.

We have had a lot of helpful "Santa's little helpers" over the years and we look forward to seeing you this year as well. Doctors and staff from the children's hospital, students and teachers from Audentes School all contribute to the charity.

Last year, the amount collected was € 3,624, with a total of 192 donors, including people from Facebook as well as from the Audentes family. 33 children were able to enjoy the spirit of Christmas!

For some children, it was unfortunately their last Christmas…

This project can change so much for some children and perhaps make them forget about the pain and hardships for a while.

Our students are amazing - full of talent!
It has been more than two weeks since we all are practising distance learning. Although learning digitally isn't entirely new for us, the first two weeks have been busy. Teachers are trying their best to guide and provide lessons for our students.
For a few years, we have been using different platforms for learning and teaching—for example, Kognity. Kognity provides digital textbooks which include video examples, practice tests, 3D models etc. Then there is Managebac. An online platform that enables teachers to share tasks give grades, share resources etc. So, we feel that we have an advanced situation compared to the other schools where students have mostly worked so far with textbooks.
We try to support our students in the best way possible. Sharing useful links that may help them study, consultation calls and whatever way we can think to help them. As long we have to stay at our homes, from the teacher's side, we want to tell you- stay healthy, creative and keep going, and also that we do miss you.
As a perfect present from the students, we received today a comics from S.Oti from Pre-IB. He permitted to share it with you all. So, enjoy!

Today our Visual Art students started puting up their final exhibition works in Kullo Lastegalerii.
