Formula Student Austria 2026 🇦🇹⚡

Our second competition of the season brought another week of unforgettable memories and valuable lessons. The week got off to an excellent start, with the team moving efficiently through scrutineering and completing all inspections exactly as planned. After a strong start, we were ready to take on the dynamic events and continue building on the momentum from Formula Student Czech.

While the dynamic events didn’t go quite as planned after our fastest Skid Pad run was deleted, FEST26 continued to show its potential throughout the competition, including a strong 5th-place finish in Autocross. The competition was incredibly close, with the top eight teams separated by just two seconds. That secured us a place in the Endurance final, and everything was looking very promising. Unfortunately, a rear wing fastener failure cost us valuable time on track. Despite the setback, we managed to finish the event and collect valuable points.

Alongside the on-track action, the team delivered solid performances in the static events, securing strong results in both the Engineering Design Event and the Business Plan Presentation. Although Formula Student Austria brought a few setbacks, the season is far from over, and we’ll be back stronger!

Formula Student Czech 2026 – done! 🏁

The first competition for FEST26 brought a full week of unforgettable moments, challenges and the excitement of finally seeing months of work come alive on track. It was also one of the most competitive competitions of the season.

Throughout the competition, FEST26 showed strong performance across both dynamic and static events. The car proved its speed on track, while the team’s hard work behind the scenes paid off in design and engineering evaluations.

The car showed its potential with an impressive Skid Pad finish with the highlight of the week being a strong Endurance performance, where FEST26 demonstrated not only its pace but also the reliability needed to complete the most demanding event of the competition. FS Czech was a great start to the season, with multiple podium finishes and a strong overall result.

The first days of FS Czech are behind us! 💪🏎️

Our main focus has been on passing all scrutineerings to make sure the car is ready for every challenge ahead. Alongside that, we completed our Business Plan Presentation and Cost & Manufacturing Event.

In just one day, we managed to run through all of the scrutineering, present our business plan and complete dynamic events.
The schedule was packed full, but by the end of the day we had successfully completed skidpad, acceleration, autocross and endurance.🏎

TUDENGIVORMEL ⟩ Maailma kiiremad vormelid valmivad Eestis. Uneaja arvelt ja ema manitseva telefonikõne kiuste Keset töökoda seisab tudeng, kelle käed on määrdunud süsiniktolmuga ning pilk silmis ütleb, et unetunde sellel öösel ülemäära ei saadud. Mõne tunni pärast algab uus päev, aga koju ei kiirusta keegi, sest pooleli on tuline arutelu, kuidas veel paar grammi vormeli kaalust maha saada.

Tagasivaade FEST26 esmaesitlusele🏎️

Täpselt kaks nädalat tagasi tutvustasime avalikkusele oma uusimat vormelit FEST26, mille arenduses viisime ellu mitmeid olulisi uuendusi.
Nende seas on täiesti uus aerodünaamika pakett koos DRS-süsteemiga, mis vähendab õhutakistust kuni 37%, võimaldades suuremat tippkiirust ja paremat efektiivsust.🔥

Efektiivsus ning massisääst iseloomustavad uut hooaega enim. Võrreldes eelmise aasta mudeliga on FEST26 üle 10 kg kergem.👀

Rollout tähistas hetke, mil 9 kuu pikkune projekteerimine, tootmine ja testimine jõudis avalikkuse ette. Seda oli suur rõõm jagada koos meie toetajate, partnerite ja kaasaelajatega.

Looking Back at the FEST26 Unveiling🏎️

Exactly two weeks ago, we proudly introduced our latest formula car, FEST26, showcasing a range of significant innovations developed over the past year. Among the highlights is a completely new aerodynamic package featuring a DRS (Drag Reduction System), capable of reducing aerodynamic drag by up to 37%, enabling higher top speeds and improved overall efficiency.🔥

Efficiency and weight reduction have been the defining themes of this season. Compared to last year’s car, FEST26 is more than 10 kg lighter, delivering meaningful gains in performance and vehicle dynamics.👀

The rollout marked the moment when nine months of design, manufacturing, and testing were finally revealed to the public. It was a pleasure to share this milestone with our sponsors, partners, and supporters.
