Ksawery says TalTech stood out because of its international environment, practical approach and strong reputation in cybersecurity education.
His story shows how one early interest can eventually grow into a profession with global opportunities.

From ABROAD ๐ธ๐ช ๐ฌ๐ง to TALTECH ๐ช๐ช โBeing Estonian is an honour.โ Jaan Erik grew up between Sweden, the UK and Estonia, but says he always felt a strong connection to his Estonian roots.
After returning to Estonia, completing military service and starting his studies at TalTech, he realised something that surprised him most about Estonia: how many opportunities there are in such a small country.
๐ฌ โThe โsmall country effectโ is quite magical,โ he says. In his view, Estoniaโs size makes networks exceptionally accessible. โHow many phone calls or messages would it take to reach almost anyone in Estonia โ maybe even the president โ through someone who knows someone?โ he asks. โI would say fewer than five people.โ This closeness helps ideas and initiatives move forward quickly.
Today, Jaan Erik is building an international career while staying closely connected to Estonia through entrepreneurship, innovation and international cooperation.
His story is a reminder that sometimes coming home is not about looking back, but about building something new for the future ๐ Read more in the article below ๐๐ผ
