17. ja 18. juunil toimusid Tallinna Inglise Kolledžis põhikooli ja gümnaasiumi lõpuaktused.

Põhikooli lõpetas 70 ning gümnaasiumi 58 ägedat noort.

On June 17 and 18, the graduation ceremonies for basic school and upper secondary school took place at the Tallinn English College.

A total of 70 students graduated from basic school and 58 talented young people from upper secondary school.

Four students were awarded a gold medal:

Ruudi Türkson

The silver medal was awarded to Gregor Andreas Mägi.

Erasmus+ RACINE Portugalis

1.–6. juunil osalesid meie koolist Erasmus+ RACINE projekti kongressil Portugalis 2 õpetajat (Kaisa-Helena Luht ja Anna Malkin) ning 2 õpilast (Ellen London ja Mie Seline Peterson) koos partneritega Serbiast, Prantsusmaalt, Rumeeniast, Poolast ja Itaaliast.
Nädala jooksul uurisime kliimamuutuste mõju, looduse elurikkust, jõgesid,ookeani randa ja metsi ning osalesime praktilistes töötubades, kus õppisime vee kvaliteeti hindama ja tervislikku komme tegema. Lisaks tutvusime Leiria piirkonna kohalike keskkonnakaitse algatustega. Samuti avanes meil võimalus tutvuda Portugali kultuuriga – õppisime ise tantsima traditsioonilist rancho't, vaatasime rahvatantsu esinemisi ning kuulasime Portugali kuulsat traditsioonilist muusikastiili fado't.
Kõige väärtuslikumad olid aga uued sõprussuhted ja rahvusvaheline koostöö.

Erasmus+ RACINE in Portugal

1–6 June two teachers (Kaisa-Helena Luht and Anna Malkin) and two students (Ellen London and Mie Seline Peterson) from our school participated in the Erasmus+ RACINE project congress in Portugal together with partners from Serbia, France, Romania, Poland, and Italy.
Throughout the week, we explored the impacts of climate change, biodiversity, rivers,ocean beach and forests, and took part in hands-on workshops where we learned how to assess water quality and create healthy candies. We discovered the natural environment of the Leiria region and got introduced to various local environmental initiatives. We also had the opportunity to experience Portuguese culture by learning the traditional rancho dance, watching folk dance performances, and listening to fado, Portugal's famous traditional music style.
Most importantly, we built new friendships and strengthened international cooperation.
Many thanks to our Portuguese hosts for an unforgettable week!

Tallinna Linnateatris toimus 11. juunil pidulik üritus „Tallinn tänab ja tunnustab“, kus Tallinn tunnustas haridustöötajaid, haridusasutusi ja õpilasi möödunud õppeaasta jooksul tehtud töö eest. Tallinna Inglise Kolledž pälvis Tervise tegu 2026 tunnustuse projekti „SchoolFood4Change tasakaalustatud toitumise ja kogu kooli toidukultuuri edendamis eest!
Südamlik tänu kõigile, kes on aastate jooksul oma aja ja pühendumusega selle projekti edule kaasa aidanud!

On 11 June, a ceremonial event titled "Tallinn Thanks and Recognizes" was held at the Tallinn City Theatre, where the City of Tallinn honored educators, educational institutions, and students for their achievements and contributions during the past academic year. Tallinn English College received the Health Initiative of the Year 2026 award for the SchoolFood4Change project in recognition of its efforts to promote balanced nutrition and a positive food culture throughout the school community.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone whose time, dedication, and commitment have contributed to the success of this project over the years!

Tänasest algas meeleoluka väliaktusega suvevaheaeg. Today, the summer holiday began with a cheerful end-of-year assembly. Before heading off for the holidays, all important matters were completed, including the appointment of the new colour guard. The 2026/2027 school year colour guard consists of Daniel-Thor Mägi (Coordinator), Jan Joonas Pohlak, Karolina Kaseväli, John Stewart Wilson IV, Patrick Paiste, Vanessa Adelynn Gleeson, Annabel Sõelsep, and Berta Kurvits.

Scrabble 2026 NB! Vastuste saatmise tähtaega on pikendatud! Vastuseid ootame kuni 31.05.2026 Mängimiseks kasutame äppi „Classic Words Solo“ tasuta versiooni. Lae mäng alla siiit (Google Play) või siit (Apple) Mängitakse saksa keeles. Võistluse tutvustus ja juhend ning mängutulemuste esitamine.

Rõõm liikumisest! 5. juunil toimus Snelli staadionil algklasside spordipäev.
Kõik klassid said omavahel võistelda erinevates tiimimängudes: teatejooksus, raskuskotivisetes, väravalöökides (1.-2. klassid) ja rahvastepallis (3.-4. klassid). Lisaks selgitati parimad välja ka 340m staadionijooksus (1.-2. klassid) ja 1km tiigijooksus (3.-4. klassid).

Spordipäeva korraldas kooli huvijuht liikumisõpetajatega. 👏

On June 5, the PYP Sports Day took place at Snelli Stadium.

All classes had the opportunity to compete against one another in a variety of team events, including relay races, sandbag throws, goal-scoring challenges (Grades 1–2), and dodgeball (Grades 3–4). In addition, the best runners were determined in the 340 m stadium race (Grades 1–2) and the 1 km pond run (Grades 3–4).

The Sports Day was organized by the school’s extracurricular activities coordinator together with the physical education teachers. 👏

Special thanks to the event assistants: Heti Stella Kisel, Kerstin Kääparin, Olivia Kurrel, and Viktoria Valežnikova.

22. mail toimus põhikooli spordipäev Tallinna Kergejõustikuhallis.

On May 22, the Basic School Sports Day took place at the Tallinn Athletics Hall.

This was a different kind of sports day, as the main focus was not on competition but on discovering and trying out various athletics events. Of course, those who wished to compete also had the opportunity to do so.

The sports events were introduced by our own young athletes:

High Jump – Kaspar Isand
Long Jump – Jan Joonas Pohlak
Hurdles – Heti Stella Kisel

Today, to mark the 142nd anniversary of the Estonian flag, a ceremonial event was held this morning in the Governor’s Garden on Toompea Hill in Tallinn. School colour guard teams also took part in the ceremony. The flag team of Tallinn English College was represented by Elias Mälksoo, Ruudi Türkson, and Morten Musthallik.

Toimusid klassidevahelised jalgpalliturniirid.

27. mail toimus 5.-8. klasside jalgpalliturniir Šnelli staadionil. Turniiri korraldasid G1 õpiased Julius Aleksander Kalda, Kaspar Sarapuu, Fredi Lillend, Mason Peter Mein, Karl-Oliver Vahtra ja Remi Kovalevski kogukonnaprojekti raames.

Kohad jagunesid järgmiselt:

School Football Tournaments Successfully Held

On May 27, a football tournament for students in Grades 5–8 took place at Šnelli Stadium. The tournament was organized by G1 students Julius Aleksander Kalda, Kaspar Sarapuu, Fredi Lillend, Mason Peter Mein, Karl-Oliver Vahtra, and Remi Kovalevski as part of their community project.

The final standings were:

🥇 1st place – Grade 7
🥈 2nd place – Grade 8
🥉 3rd place – Grade 5
🏅 4th place – Grade 6

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported the teams, and shared in the excitement. The day was filled with enthusiasm, suspense, and memorable moments – exactly the kind that make school life special.

Special thanks to our head coaches, Teodor Sibul and Frans Marlon Jääger, whose contribution helped the tournament run smoothly and encouraged players to give their very best.

We would also like to thank our sponsors, Stokker and FL Stuudio, whose support helped make the tournament a success and provided an even better experience for all participants.

On May 29, a football tournament for students from Grade 9 to G3 was held. The event was organized by G2IB students Kirill Antiptšik, Mark Gomon, and Nikita Nemko as part of their CAS project.
