uuest skaala kirjastuse töösolevast raamatust, milleks on winston churchilli "painting as a pastime"...

oli hea vaibiga üritus, jäädi rahule -- inimesi oleks ju võinud veidi rohkem olla, aga kes tulid olid päris ja olid kohal. kuigi ürituse ametlik lõpp oli 18: 01, st päikeseloojangul, tiksuti veini toel veel kuni 19: 30-ni -- need kes spetsiaalselt tarmo pärast tulid, ei pidanud ka edasi kiirustama... tore! tänud kohalviibijaile ja ostjaile eriti!

skaala publishing is an aspiring micro-enterprise. the publishing house is run by hanno soans and silvia sosaar.

our aim is to synthesise the ethos of the nation. thus we are mostly expressing ourselves in the estonian language, although worthy exceptions are accepted. we are deliberately educational, but occasionally rubbing against the grain. we don’t aim to stress you out, but instead to go spinning deep, together with you, wearing down a hole in the carpet. we do prefer bodily based belles-lettres, but are not to denigrate neither comic books nor docile theories. we simultaneously live in the previous and in the next century, creating bridges between the beginning and the end and burning them down if needed – all that just not to become too omnipresent. we will mediate to be immediate, we occasionally even lie to make the point, but we never excuse.
