Q: What is the maximal frequency range of contemporary transistors?
A: Above 10 GHz

Q: Can a rectifier change the frequency?
A: No. DC voltage of a rectifier is not measured by the frequency. Only its ripples have a frequency.

Q: How can we increase the rating of electronic components?
A: Connect them in series or in parallel.
