On 28 August, join us as we officially open the new academic year with a festive Opening Ceremony. Afterwards, the celebration continues at the Student Fair, where you can meet student organisations, enjoy delicious food from food trucks and spend the afternoon with fellow students, lecturers and colleagues. The evening’s headliner is SÄM.

Whether you’re starting your first year at Tallinn University or returning for another semester, we look forward to welcoming you. Come meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces and kick off the new academic year together.

Thinking about becoming a Student Buddy? 🌍

Help new international students feel at home at Tallinn University, meet people from around the world and gain valuable experience along the way. As a Student Buddy, you’ll support new students during their first weeks in Tallinn, develop your communication and intercultural skills, and earn 6 ECTS by completing the Peer Support for International Students course.

The next training takes place 10–12 August.

Tallinn University’s microdegree programmes are a flexible way to gain new knowledge and practical skills while balancing work and other commitments. Lasting from 1 to 3 semesters, they focus on specific fields, helping you build expertise that supports your career. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive an official Tallinn University certificate, and the earned credits can later be transferred towards a degree programme.
