EU jobs open right now: 113 live vacancies across the institutions, agencies, NGOs and public affairs, in one free tracker 🇪🇺

Most people check two websites. EPSO, and maybe the Commission careers page.

That is a fraction of what is actually open. 😳

Right now there are vacancies in Ljubljana, Tallinn, Stockholm, Valletta, Parma, Thessaloniki. Energy regulators, disease prevention, food safety, asylum, defence. Almost nobody applies to those.

So we built one tracker and put everything in it 👇

📋 113 live vacancies, updated weekly
🏛️ Institutions, agencies, NGOs, think tanks, public affairs
🌍 30 cities across Europe and beyond
💼 12 career fields, whatever you studied
⏰ Sortable by field, city and deadline

And if you are just starting: assistant and trainee roles are in there too. Policy Assistant, Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, FG II and FG III contract agent posts. You do not need ten years.

The tracker also lets you mark what you are interested in, what you applied to, and where you are in each process. So it doubles as your application log.

🆓 Free. No payment, no account.

👇 One question before you go, answer in the comments:

Would you move for the right job?

🇧🇪 Brussels only
🇪🇺 Anywhere in Europe
🌍 Anywhere at all

Your answer changes which of the 113 are actually for you.

💬 Then comment EU and we will DM you the tracker.

🔖 Save this before the deadlines pass, and send it to whoever is still refreshing the EPSO page.

Career orientation for the EU: the quiz tells you which of 20 tracks fits you, and which one to stop chasing 🇪🇺

Nobody sat you down and explained the jobs.

Six years of studying how the Union works, and not one hour on what the working weeks actually look like. So you aim at whatever you’ve heard of, and hope. 😳

The quiz asks you 22 questions instead.

Not what you know. What you can stand.

🔹 Would you resign over a week of only meetings, or a week of only writing?

🔹 What would keep you awake - being publicly wrong, or being ignored?

🔹 Would you rather be trusted with a secret, a budget, or a microphone?

No right answers. Every question makes you give something up, and your result is built from what you refuse.

What comes out 👇

✅ Your track
🥈 Your runner-up
🛑 The one to stop applying to

With what the day actually looks like, how people really get in, what it pays, and what you’ll have to tolerate. The part nobody tells you before year three.

⏱️ 5 minutes. Free.

💬 Comment EU and we’ll send the link to your DM.

🔖 Save this if you’re applying this year, and send it to whoever in your cohort is applying to everything at once.

You’re doing EU applications the slow way ⏳

There are 8 routes into an EU career, and most people only try one: EPSO 🇪🇺

But 7 faster doors exist, and almost nobody uses them: traineeships, CAST,
agency jobs, MEP offices and more 🚪

🗺️ Want the full map of all 8 routes (with the ones open to non-EU citizens flagged)?

💬 Comment EU and we’ll send it to you.

Comment LIST and we’ll DM you all 28 security & defence organisations hiring in Europe. 🛡️

You know NATO. There are 27 others - and almost nobody applies to them.

Here’s the problem: security isn’t one employer. It’s a whole ecosystem:

🎖️ NATO and its agencies
🇪🇺 Frontex, Europol, ENISA, EUDA
🌍 OSCE, EDA, EU ISS and more

And it’s not just for ex-military. 👀 Analysts, lawyers, cyber experts, policy officers, comms, project managers - security needs all of them.

But there’s no single portal. No one place that lists them. So people apply to the one name they know, and never see the other 27.

📋 We mapped all of them - every organisation, where they hire, how to apply. One list.

📩 Two steps:

Right now, 271 EU jobs are open. Some close in the next 7 days. ⏳🇪🇺

Everyone else is applying. Are you?

Here’s what most people miss: the EU isn’t just the Commission. It’s hiring across 🏛️ every institution, 🔬 40+ agencies, and 🌍 25+ cities - in 16 career fields, whatever you studied.

Policy, legal, comms, data, finance, health, security... there’s a track with your name on it.

And the roles nobody fights for? 👀 MEP offices, NGOs, paid traineeships from €1,000-4,000/month - where the competition is a fraction of the Commission’s.

But open roles don’t wait. Every day you scroll, a deadline passes. ⏳

📊 So we built the EU Jobs Tracker - all 271 roles in one place:

✅ Direct apply links
✅ Salaries & deadlines
✅ Sortable by field, city & stage
✅ Built-in tracker for your applications

Everyone applies to the European Parliament the same way - and most never hear back. 🇪🇺

Here’s what nobody tells you: there isn’t one way in.

There are three.

🚪 The Official Route - the Schuman traineeship. Prestigious, paid ~€1,600/month, two windows a year. The one everyone fights for.
🚪 The Strategic Route - the political groups (EPP, S&D, Renew, Greens…) run their own traineeships. Less bureaucratic, and they reward real conviction.
🚪 The Hidden Market - working directly for an MEP. No portal, driven by nationality. You compete only with your own compatriots, not the whole continent.

Most people flood the first door and ignore two-thirds of the openings.

We put all three routes in one free guide: every deadline, the eligibility rules that auto-reject you, the CV & motivation-letter strategy, and the exact cold-email script for MEPs.

Some debates are still open. Yours is the analysis that could shape them. 🇪🇺

The European Governance Lab is a peer-reviewed platform for timely European policy research - rigorous review, serious readership, and publication while the questions are still live.

We invite doctoral and early-career researchers, established academics, and practitioners in European and international institutions to submit. Every abstract is assessed on the same criteria - originality, analytical rigour, and policy relevance. Not on your title.

We publish across more than thirty fields - from AI governance and strategic autonomy to the war in Ukraine, critical raw materials, enlargement, disinformation, and energy security. Work that draws across several is especially welcome.

Submitting an abstract is free. Selected authors receive substantive editorial feedback and develop a full paper of up to 3,000 words, refined with our editors before publication.

📅 Deadline: 31 July 2026. Early submissions are read first.

👉 Submit via the link in bio.

Everyone applies to the same 3 UN bodies - then stops. 🌍🇺🇳

Here’s the thing: the UN isn’t one office in New York. 🗽 It’s a whole system - 62 bodies hiring worldwide 🌐

From Geneva 🇨🇭 to Vienna 🇦🇹 to Nairobi 🇰🇪 to Rome 🇮🇹 to Bangkok 🇹🇭 — across 23 fields, from public health ⚕️ to climate 🌱 to law ⚖️ to peace & security 🕊️

And here’s what almost nobody tells you 👀 — unlike a lot of institutions, the UN recruits from all 193 member states, and actively seeks talent from under-represented countries.

If yours is rarely in the room, that can work for you ✅

We put all 62 in one place 📊 — direct career portals 🔗, requirements 📋, locations 📍, and paid status role by role 💶
