You will learn the art of embroidery, using free-motion embroidery technique.
It is similar to drawing and painting with the domestic sewing machine.

My students have characterized it as a relaxing activity. I find this balancing and soothing, both hands are involved in the process simultaneously.

You will do fun experimental stitching exercises on various surfaces (recycled materials, paper, plastic, fabric, felt, water-soluble film) using free-motion machine embroidery and hand stitching techniques.

You can create experiments, sampling but also finish art pieces and gifts for you, family and friends.

No prior knowledge is needed. Small group. Course will happen once a month on Sundays 14:00-17:00 in a cozy studio in Tondi-1 Tallinn.

Price is 35 euros for a lesson. All materials, tea and coffee are included.
