We are excited to share this wonderful information with you!😄😄😊

In this post I would like to continue sharing my life story. How did I even apply to Finnish university with Bellnor? How I got to know about this company? Good questions that are about to be answered! 😄☺️

As a high school graduate I was still planning where I would like to study and what program interests me the most. At that time I already knew about Bellnor. Bellnor representative came to my high school with the presentation about their company and services. I got very interested.

So I decided to have a consultation at Bellnor and that was very beneficial (just wrote an email). I finally managed to make a decision. Finland interested me the most and at the beginning I wanted to study the tourism sector. Bellnor found the best suggestion which is HAMK University of Applied Sciences.

We signed an official contract with Bellnor and then we started the process of applying to the university. Bellnor was managing all the documentation and translation which saved me a lot of time and effort.

After everything was prepared I had to attend an online entrance exam and then I was invited to an interview. HAMK confirmed that I will be studying International Business there and I was happy to hear it. Without having any experience of living abroad, that seemed to be an exciting journey for me. It is still exciting to be here! Choosing HAMK was my best decision.

Today I would like to answer some questions that future applicants to finnish universities might have😊

Does HAMK provide students with internships?

Absolutely, HAMK can help with searching for jobs for students or provide internships. Depending on the degree program and the student's abilities. Students can apply for potential jobs in a variety of fields within the HAMK research units. There are 4 research units at HAMK students can even write the final thesis with units.

What kind of jobs can students have in Finland?

Students in Finland can typically apply for work at restaurants, cleaning services, retail stores, and other places. A student has a better chance of being hired for a higher position in the company if they can speak in Finnish. Always based on a student's ability and degree program of choice. For instance, business students may pursue a career in marketing, whereas engineering students may pursue a career in data analysis or anything else. There are companies which are willing to hire international students.

How to apply?

It is always essential to have a CV well prepared, whether the internship is at the institution or elsewhere. Recent experience, private information, topic of study, and a professional presentation are all required. Also, it is advised that you produce a motivational letter for each job that you apply for. Applications may be forwarded to the research units at HAMK. There are also different platforms where students can search for a suitable job.

My own experience of working at HAMK.

Working for HAMK as a student is giving a lot of privileges for the future job. I was working as a marketing trainee for HAMK Gaming Academy. That was a very beneficial experience. I managed social media, created videos and organized events for Gaming Academy. Now I am planning my thesis with Gaming Academy and applying all my work experience to that.

My name is Vitalina Petrova and I am studying in Finland thanks to Bellnor. I am originally coming from Estonia and finished my school education in Tallinn.

How have I decided to go study in Finland?

I already know that I want to study abroad and have made that decision after I graduated high school. Where exactly I want to study is the sole question I have been pondering. With no practical experience of studying and living abroad, it was quite difficult to make a choice. I had the impression that I couldn't apply to a foreign university by myself. Then I came across Bellnor and submitted an application for a private consultation. My decision on where and what to study was helped by consultation.

What were my first expressions of living in Finland?

As Finland is close to Estonia, moving there wasn't too difficult for me. I couldn't wait to begin my fantastic journey and new life. Initial reactions were overwhelmingly positive. I had never before considered Finland to be such a stunning country. I had a great time here. First impressions were amazing. We had orientation days at HAMK and that helped to adapt quickly and find new friends around the campus. Some activities were organized for first year students so we could enjoy our time in Finland.

How did the first year of study go?

I went to HAMK University of Applied Sciences to study international business. I was concerned that the themes would be too complex for me to comprehend, yet the exact reverse happened. My first-year teachers did their best to ensure that each concept was well explained. It was wonderful to start the first few days with actual projects to work on.

Suggestions for applicants?

I highly suggest the applicants to go study abroad, especially to Finland. You will gain unbelievable experience.

Hello to all of you!
Today, we'd like to talk more about the branding of HAMK University of Applied Sciences. If you have been following the blog for a long time, you may have noticed HAMK University's previous visual identity. That's all in the past now! HAMK University will look and sound different as of August 15th.

It demonstrates HAMK staff members and students' passion to make the world a better place. 'The Bettermakers' is the new brand's motto.

“We at HAMK want to make the world a better place and make big changes, but with human-sized steps. Everyone can find their own way to make a difference and do meaningful things in their work and studies,” Puusaari describes.

“At HAMK, we set out to renew the brand as it should be: based on strategy, listening to target groups and with internationalisation in mind. The brand is not superficial, but was created as a joint effort based on what HAMK is all about”, says Matti Lehto, Head of Strategy at Kuudes.

You can see how much HAMK changed on their official webpage: www.hamk.fi. What do you think about HAMK’S new branding? 😊 Bellnor thinks it’s amazing!

Here are some more highlights from Bellnor Summer Camp! We had so much fun there and created unbelievable memories! 😄🥰

Bellnor Summer Camp went just amazing!

We are excited to tell you about our summer camp experience! Bellnor planned an English language camp for children in Estonia from the 19th to the 26th of August! We went to a wonderful area named Liipa Talu and spent the next week being active! We were never bored because our days were packed with fascinating activities.
The day would begin with English language sessions with our amazing team of teachers. Each teacher had their own program and used various teaching approaches based on the knowledge and needs of their groups. Following education, children would engage in a variety of activities such as games, athletics, dancing, sketching, and much more! Throughout the week, we were able to stage a talent show, a fashion show, karaoke, and a theater evening.
Accepting all program activities, teachers and group leaders would spend time with youngsters in the evenings singing and playing guitars or visiting the local fashion salon founded by amazing girls.
