๐ŸŸขOur species' history reminds us that personal, social and ecological wellbeing grow together, and are in a constant interaction. Our individual life always reflects something bigger, the relationship between humanity and Earth.

๐ŸŸขThat is the reason why we can talk about "forgotten reasons", those wisdoms, rhythms and ways of being that for centuries have guided human communities in their connection with the planet. These memories include mutuality with nature, belonging, commuity life and more intimate relations with the world.

๐ŸŸขWith the industrial revolution many of these connections were weakened, deeply transforming our way of working, relating to others and perceive life.

๐ŸŸขSupport and educational professionals can help to bring back to light these memories through stories, experiences and practices that connect personal and collective experiences. Perhaps this can also be the starting point of a new concept of wellbeing, more aware, more connected and more responsible towards the places we inhabit. ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŸขHow to transform sustainability and regeneration from mere technical competences to ways of being?

๐ŸŸขOftentimes these subjects are taught as practical and professional tools, which are certainly very useful, although still conencted to a vision that sees nature as something to manage and control. The biggest challenge in this respect concerns values, behaviours and attitudes that can transform the way how we live our daily lives. This implies changing our relationships with the world, with communities and with ourselves.

๐ŸŸขBateson spoke about the different between accumulating information and transforming our way of learning. This is exactly where the deepest educational work begins ; to accompany individuals and groups towards new forms of belonging and renewed sensitivities.

๐ŸŸขWe can cultivate attitudes through tangible examples, experiences, and repeated practices over time in direct contact with nature. Then, sustainability and regeneration stop being mere technical competences, and become part of our identity, our relations and our daily lives. ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŸขLook to the sky towards the tree branches, and remember this; everything that alive breathes your same air. From the leaves moved by the wind all the way to the cells that vibrate within us, every being belongs to a single great organism called the Biosphere.

๐ŸŸขThe Biosphere is the living patterns that unites oceas, forests, clouds, animal species, including us. It is a thin and precious layer that envelopes Earth and makes life possible. Everything moves, circulatesa and transforms; the sun meets the water, the soil nourishes the roots, and the forests communicate with the seas, and we too are part of this balance.

๐ŸŸขEvery time we walk in nature, we look at a landscape or take a deep breath, we are participating in the conversations of the living world. The Biosphere is not something far or separated from us humans; it is an extension of our existence. Perhaps, instead or merely studying it we need to remember our belonging to this greater system. ๐Ÿ’š

Let's reflect a bit on the deep connection between our planet's health and female dignity through the perspective of eco-feminism. This movement shows us how Earth's history and women are intertwined, and how both can prosper through respect, care and mutuality.

๐ŸŸขAuthors like Francoise d'Eaubonne, Carolyn Merchant, Starhawk and Vandana Shiva showed us how patriarchal cultures influenced control over both female bodies and extractive use of nature, pointing to alternatives such as pathways that are grounded on coope๐ŸŸขration, listening and attentive care towards living systems. This is the vision that inspired the birth of , and that recognises how our internal wellbeing is deeply connected to life on this planet.

๐ŸŸขMaybe this can be a starting point for the future of our communities; rooted on dignity, relations, kindness and a new harmony between humans and Earth. ๐ŸŒ

๐ŸŸขExistential suffering is rapidly spreading among the so-called "developed societies" and often this originates from the criteria of how we define success; ongoing productivity, constant competition and visibility as a measure of value. A logic that consumes personal and relational energies that follows the same extractive dynamics that weakened ecosystems, creating a quite tangible link between human and environmental exhaustion.

๐ŸŸขWhen the future starts to appear fragile, then these models lose meaning, and the distance between the lives we are supposed to strive for and the real world we inhabit, grows. This is the point where so many existential and climate anxieties are born, making it difficult to imagine our own pathway.

๐ŸŸขThis is where education takes a crucial role. A type of education that is centred almost exclusively on performance and competition risks to produce the same patterns that generate suffering. On the other hand, an ecological education, can be rooted on interdependence, care, belonging and shared responsibility.

Then maybe in the future success will be more and more measured through the quality of our relations, shared creativity and the capability to contribute to the world's wellbeing. ๐Ÿ’š
