From February 14–16, more than 6,000 students gathered at Harvard University for three days of rigorous competition, intellectual exchange, and global connection at one of the most internationally diverse high school debate tournaments in the world, with teams representing 20 countries. 🌎

Thousands of rounds took place across multiple formats, highlighting research, argumentation, and strategic thinking at the highest level.

Our Colegio Menor Samborondón Debate Team proudly participated with five teams in Public Forum and Policy Debate. Competing among top debaters from around the world, our students embraced an unforgettable academic experience. ✨

Our Early Childhood playground is being thoughtfully renewed, and today we are sharing a first glimpse of what lies ahead. The new design features updated play structures, climbing elements, soft play areas, and a tricycle track that encourages movement and coordination.

Every space has been carefully designed to support gross motor development, independence, creativity, and active exploration within a safe and welcoming environment.

This is just a preview of what our youngest learners will experience in the new school year. We look forward to seeing them explore, learn, and grow in this renewed space. 💫

Stepping into Middle School 🎓

Our 5th graders have completed their journey in Lower School and are ready for what comes next. 💫

During a heartfelt morning ceremony, we celebrated their achievements, growth, and dedication. Through recognitions, music, and shared moments, we honored not only their hard work, but the resilience and character they have built along the way.

This milestone marks the end of an important chapter and the beginning of a new and exciting stage.

A World of Imagination ✨
Our Kinder students welcomed their families into a world of creativity and learning. Throughout the event, parents had the opportunity to witness the skills their children have developed throughout the year and celebrate their growth.

The experience included an art gallery featuring different styles and forms of expression, as well as a special Writing Celebration, where students proudly shared their own books, showcasing their writing skills and feeling like real authors.

We are proud to share that our school achieved 100% compliance in the School Safety and Risk Audit. 🏅

This result reflects our commitment to maintaining strong emergency procedures, ensuring that our staff and students are well prepared for drills, and meeting all required infrastructure safety standards. 💫

🎭 Performing Arts Fest 2026 🎶

Between January 23–27, our students joined peers from 22 Nord Anglia Education schools across The Americas for an unforgettable artistic experience in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Windermere Preparatory School.

They enjoyed inspiring performances and actively participated as members of an orchestra and choir, collaborating with talented young artists from across the region. Throughout the festival, they also strengthened their skills through specialized workshops in Drumline, Musical Theatre Dance, and Music Improvisation.

We are proud of Matteo M., Luisa S., and Carlos Z., who represented our school with creativity, commitment, and teamwork.
