What makes Global Games and Junior Games so special? 🌎🏅

It’s the chance to step outside the classroom, take on new challenges, meet students from across The Americas, and experience the power of teamwork, friendship, and sport.

In this reel, Danny Haney from Nord Anglia Education shares the purpose behind these regional events, while our students tell us what the experience has meant to them.

From competition to connection, these are the moments that build confidence, create friendships, and stay with our students long after the games are over.

Inspired by the wonders of space, our Playgroup and First Grade students explored a variety of art materials while discovering colors, textures, and new ways to express their creativity.🔭💫

These galleries invite you to journey through their galaxies, visit their extraordinary worlds, and celebrate not only their artwork, but also the curiosity, collaboration, and imagination that brought each piece to life.

Every opportunity matters.

During his time at Colegio Menor, Maximiliano S. embraced every opportunity to perform, create, and grow as a musician. His passion, dedication, and the experiences he gained along the way earned him a Merit Scholarship to Berklee College of Music, one of the world’s leading music schools.

At Colegio Menor, we believe that when students are encouraged to explore their passions and make the most of every opportunity, extraordinary journeys begin.

Congratulations, Maximiliano. We can’t wait to see where your music takes you next. 💙

Last week, our annual Book Fair transformed the Media Center into a Fantastical World of Books. 📚✨

Students explored new stories, discovered exciting books, and enjoyed engaging activities throughout the week.

Inside the classroom! 💚

This month, early childhood students worked on an SDGs project exploring balanced nutrition through fun, hands-on activities.

To build a stronger sense of community, families were invited to share their favorite healthy recipes from home. Together, they guided the children step by step, creating meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom.

To celebrate the project, the class created a special recipe book featuring all the recipes shared by their families.📖✨

Because the best lessons are the ones we share.

This week, our community celebrated Digital Citizenship Week through this year’s campaign, ConnectED, which encourages the safe, responsible, and balanced use of technology.💙📱

Throughout the week, students reflected on how to build healthy digital habits, protect their well-being, and create a positive digital footprint. As part of the initiative, our Lower School students also took on a Disconnect Challenge, unplugging from electronic devices at home to enjoy more quality time with their families.

💫Together, we’re learning that meaningful connections happen both online and offline.

What an inspiring two days!

As part of our collaboration with The Juilliard School through Nord Anglia Education, we were delighted to welcome Amadi Washington, Juilliard Dance Specialist, to Colegio Menor Samborondón.🎭

Amadi connected with students, teachers, and families through workshops, classroom experiences, and conversations that explored creativity, artistic expression, and the power of the Performing Arts.

💫Experiences like these provide our students with unique global opportunities and bring learning to life in meaningful ways.

Service. Leadership. Impact. 🌍

Nine of our students traveled to Tanzania as part of a unique Nord Anglia Education opportunity focused on community service, cultural immersion, and personal growth.

Collaborating with the Seeway Foundation and students from other Nord Anglia schools, they contributed to meaningful projects that support local communities, including the construction of student housing and other initiatives designed to create lasting impact.

Through this experience, our students strengthened their leadership skills, broadened their global perspective, and discovered the power of making a difference beyond the classroom.

Special thanks to José V., our HS/MS Principal, for being the best support to our students and for capturing the moments that brought this journey to life. 🌍📸
