Italy and Austria united beneath the Alps 🏔️

Miners have now connected Austria and Italy via two main railway tunnels.

The BBT will better connect Italy and Austria while boosting rail transport between northern and southern Europe upon completion in 2032.

Entrega Doctorado Honoris Causa, en la CIS

The Business Center for the Economic Development of the Commonwealth of Independent States hosted a joint session of two working groups of the Committee for Digital and Technological Sovereignty: the Working Group on Value-Semantic Self-Governance (VSSG) and the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and AI Ethics Governance. The event was dedicated to the theme: “Value-Oriented State Governance as the Foundation for Technological Growth and Prosperity of the CIS Member States.”

The session was moderated by Alexander Grif – Chairman of the Committee for Digital and Technological Sovereignty, Chairman of the Council for Cognitive, Digital and Technological Sovereignty of the Rodina Party, Chairman of the CIS Russian-Arab Council, and Head of the Laboratory for the Ontology of Cognitive, Digital and Technological Sovereignty at IRIAS.

Welcoming remarks and presentations were delivered by Nadezhda Surova, Director of the Digital Economy Competence Center and member of the Council on the Digital Economy of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, who presented an overview of state support measures provided by the Russian Federation for the technological development of CIS countries; Vadim Ganin, Director General of the Business Center for the Economic Development of the Commonwealth of Independent States; Andrei Kalageorgi, a direct descendant of Empress Catherine II and Prince Grigory Potemkin and an expert in value-semantic economics; Ekaterina Zagladina, President of the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Laureates for Peace; and Henry Soria, President of the World Humanistic University. The event was also attended by experts in value-semantic self-governance, researchers, industrialists, IT specialists, and heads of major companies.

The session’s work was organized into two blocks.

The first block was devoted to the work of the Working Group on Value-Semantic Self-Governance (VSSG). Speakers presented value-semantic self-governance as a system linking individual human resilience to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and examined its application to labor productivity, industrial relations, education, healthcare, and the resource provision of economic activity across the Commonwealth’s member states.

The second block was devoted to the work of the Working Group on Artificial Intelligence and AI Ethics Governance. Presentations covered the Skolkovo Foundation’s experience in applying AI solutions in urban management and the construction sector, national strategies and ethical standards for AI regulation in the countries of Central Asia, and the concept of cognitive sovereignty, including the “human-in-the-loop” principle and approaches to protecting against new forms of value-semantic cyber threats.

Following the session, participants formulated proposals for refining the draft model law “On Ensuring Cognitive, Technological and Digital Sovereignty,” and noted the importance of further harmonizing the approaches of CIS member states to matters of digital and technological sovereignty.

At the close of the session, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Committee for Digital and Technological Sovereignty and the Association of Employers and Labor Resource Coordinators of Friendly Countries (AELRC).

During the event, Alexander Grif was presented with the CIS Badge of Distinction in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of the Business Center for the Economic Development of the CIS.

Our President, Henrry Soria Valencia, at the Chamber of Deputies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), awarded an honorary doctorate to the CIS Director General and Director of International Relations.

In the framework of the session of the working groups of the Committee for Digital and Technological Sovereignty, held on 13 July 2026 at the Business Center for the Economic Development of the Commonwealth of Independent States, a solemn ceremony was held to confer the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa of the World Humanistic University.

The university’s honorary doctors are:

• Alexander Grif – Chairman of the Committee for Digital and Technological Sovereignty, Chairman of the Council for Cognitive, Digital and Technological Sovereignty of the Rodina Party, Chairman of the CIS Russian-Arab Council, and Head of the Laboratory for the Ontology of Cognitive, Digital and Technological Sovereignty at IRIAS;

The diplomas were presented to the laureates personally by Henry Soria, President of the World Humanistic University. The University, founded in Miami, Florida (USA) in 2018, confers this honorary title in recognition of the professional achievements, life’s work, and contribution of its recipients to the advancement of humanity; the decision was adopted unanimously.
