Mónica Barreno, Master of Arts in Linguistics and Literature (2021) has an extensive background as an educator in Ecuador. She is highly qualified to teach Spanish to non-Spanish speakers, holds a university degree in Languages ( Bachelor of science in Spanish- English and French) with more than 30 years teaching experience.
As director of the Galápagos Spanish School, she has been a pioneer . Dedicated and student-focused teaching professional, who is committed to providing a well-balanced, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all students. Proficient at tailoring lesson plans to incorporate student`s diverse interest, and class discussions to generate independent thought, improve reading and writing skills and still love for literacy in students.
