To wrap up our trip down memory lane, we are highlighting the High School classes from the 1962 yearbook. From fresh-faced freshmen to the graduating seniors, these grades took to Quito’s most historic and iconic vistas to capture their school year.

Looking at these landmarks through the lens of 1962 reminds us of just how deep Alliance Academy’s roots run in this beautiful valley. Decades may pass and the skyline may grow, but the lifelong friendships formed here stay exactly the same.

We are back with Week 2 of our 1962 yearbook showcase! This week, we are highlighting our 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, posing at some of the city's most recognizable cultural and athletic hubs.

From the stands of the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa to the beautiful grounds of Hotel Quito—which had just opened its doors a few years prior—these photos capture a beautiful moment in time for both our school and our host city.

Who remembers staying at Hotel Quito or cheering on a match at the Atahualpa stadium back in the day? Tag your classmates from the early '60s and let’s get the memories flowing!

Throwing it all the way back to 1962! For this , we are kicking off a three-week look inside the pages of a vintage Alliance Academy yearbook.

To start things off, look at these incredible photos of our 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders. Back then, class photos weren't just taken on the blacktop—each grade traveled to an iconic Quito landmark.

If you walked the halls of the Middle School, you know Veronica Aguirre. For years, she was a listening ear and a "safe harbor" for our students. But Vero’s deepest connection to AAI is personal.

Vero saw her son graduate as an AAI Spartan. That was just the beginning. Today, she is a proud AAI grandmother of a recent graduate and another granddaughter who will walk the stage next school year! 🎓

It is always a proud moment to see our alumni thriving in their professional passions. This Mother’s Day, Gael León (Class of 2022) is taking over the kitchen at ABYSMO in Cumbayá to host a special three-course lunch.

Meet Daniela Vicuña: An up-and-coming fashion designer whose journey began in the classrooms of Alliance Academy.

Daniela’s story is a success, but right now, future stories are on the line. We are currently at $500 of our $15,000 goal. We have until May 31st to raise the funds necessary to say "YES" to our incoming financial aid applicants.
