Look what we found! This snapshot from the 1981 Alliance Academy Yearbook shows the Christian Service Outreach (CSO) in action.

And if you look closely, you’ll see Dale Groeneweg, who was leading the program back then. If that name sounds familiar, it should: Dale is still part of the AA family, giving his time as a volunteer right here on campus!

It's amazing to see the thread of commitment—from leading CSO nearly 45 years ago to continuing to serve today. Our community is built on people like Dale and the incredible support from our alumni, former staff, and friends. We appreciate you all!

💛 Serving Others Has Always Been Part of Who We Are 💙

These photos from our 2002 yearbook remind us that service has long been at the heart of Alliance Academy. Through CSO (Christian Service Outreach), students have always had opportunities to make a difference—both within our own school and in communities beyond our campus.

From organizing local outreach projects to serving alongside classmates and teachers, these experiences continue to shape students into compassionate leaders who live out their faith through action.

Your generosity today reaches far beyond our campus. It touches real students, real families, and real stories. Thank you for standing with us and helping shape lives in ways that last forever.

This video was filmed two years ago, but its message is still just as powerful today. Service opportunities have always shaped our students in deep and meaningful ways. When they step into underprivileged communities, they learn compassion, humility, and the joy of putting others first.

Moments like these help form the kind of leaders who see people the way Christ does and who aren’t afraid to reach out with love and purpose. We’re grateful for every student who has taken these steps, and for the communities who have welcomed us and taught us so much in return.

We hope this video reminds you of the heart behind our mission — to serve, to grow, and to make an impact that lasts.

Giving Tuesday 2025 - Alliance Academy International 28/11/2025

As we start this Thanksgiving weekend, we’re especially grateful for our AAI community — for your prayers, your encouragement, and the many ways you continue to support our mission.

Giving Tuesday is just a few days away, and thanks to early generosity, our 2025 Holiday Fundraising Campaign has already raised $1,132.50. Every gift helps us invest in students, spiritual formation, hands-on learning, scholarships, and the future growth of AAI.

Today, we’re sharing a short video that walks through the different funds available for Giving Tuesday. It’s an easy way to see where your gift can make a meaningful impact.

If you’d like to learn more or give at any time, visit alliance.k12.ec/support-us.

Thank you for being part of the AAI story.

On this Thanksgiving Day, we’re looking back with gratitude at the heart of service that has always been part of the Alliance Academy story. These yearbook photos from 1995–1996 capture students serving through our Christian Service Outreach programs nearly 30 years ago.

Even then, CSO showed up in many different ways — mentoring younger students, supporting ministries, reaching out to local communities, and choosing to live out their faith through action.

We’re thankful for the students who served during those years, and for the generations who have continued that legacy ever since. Their example reminds us that service has always been part of who we are.

Happy Thanksgiving, Alliance family.

Service at Alliance Academy shows up in many different ways. Sometimes it’s tutoring younger students or leading worship. Other times it’s visiting local ministries, serving families in need, or choosing kindness in the small, everyday moments that matter.

Our Christian Service Outreach (CSO) programs bring all of this together. It gives students real opportunities to live out their faith, serve their community, and grow into leaders who notice needs and respond with love.

These yearbook spreads from the 2012-2013 school year capture those moments beautifully. They remind us that when students serve, they don’t just touch lives — they’re shaped by the experience.

As we move through this season of gratitude and generosity, we invite you to keep AAI in mind for Giving Tuesday. Your support helps make programs like CSO possible for the next generation of servant-hearted leaders.

What CSO experience or memory do you still cherish to this day?

As we celebrate Giving Tuesday, we’re reminded that generosity doesn’t just change lives — it multiplies them. Few people embody that truth better than Terrilynn Kadle (TK), Alliance Academy graduate from the Class of 1977. For nearly six years, TK has been a vital part of our Advancement Team, pouring her heart into everything she does. Her story is a beautiful picture of what it means to give back — not only through donations, but through time, care, and continued connection.

"I started working with the Advancement Team about 6 years ago. It has been a joy working on this team. I have connected with so many people who share the same memories from the AAI back in the day – almost 50 years ago. One of the main things that I do for the Advancement team, is to write thank you notes for those who have donated to the different funds that AAI has, and put together AAI reunions while I am in the US for the summer. I also work trying to raise funds for the sponsorship students.

Many of you generously helped Jemima Loachamín graduate in 2024. Her father used to work as a maintenance worker at school until Covid hit and he was laid off. This is when Jemima was in the 9 th grade and they just couldn’t afford to keep her at AAI. With your generosity, she was able to graduate and is now attending UIDE (Universidad International del Ecuador) studying in the field of medicine to be a doctor. We continue to stay connected as much as possible. I have also and am currently working with several teachers’ and guards’ kids – with English and Educational Therapy. One of my former Ed. Therapy students – showed me her progress report yesterday, and she got straight A’s in Term 1! I am so proud of Rosita! Her father says that she is even teaching some kids in her neighborhood English and wants to be a teacher."
