In honor of the recent Jeopardy! run by Jamie Ding, YouTube content creator did a piece about the top 20 Jeopardy! players of all time! Coming in at number four was our own Executive Director David Madden, and they talked about our programs in his segment!

We’ll go over everything from the schedule format, what kids can sign up for, and the fun activities available for the whole family!

Felicitamos a Emilio Ruiz Vinueza por ser seleccionado al prestigioso programa "On-Demand Youth Leadership (ODYLP) Program: Digital Literacy" auspiciado con todos los gastos pagados por el Departamento de Estado de los Estados Unidos a través de la Oficina de Asuntos Educativos y Culturales (ECA) y ejecutado por Legacy International.

Durante un periodo de tres semanas 24 jóvenes y mentores adultos de Colombia, Ecuador, Perú y los Estados Unidos se reunirán para fomentar su liderazgo y aprender el uso adecuado de medios digitales en favor de la promoción de principios democráticos y participación civil en la generación de contenidos comunicacionales tomando en cuenta nuevas tecnologías (IA) y el cuidado de difusión de información verificada (mis/disinformation).

La filial de International Academic Competitions en Ecuador, refirió y acompañó al postulante cuando vio la convocatoria anunciada en la página de U.S. Embassy Ecuador. Nos enorgullece poder identificar talento estudiantil, y poder encaminar a nuestros participantes a oportunidades donde pueden desarrollar sus aptitudes. Aun cuando muchas personas no son visibles mientras cursan sus estudios secundarios, creemos en las diferentes formas de inteligencia que muestran nuestros concursantes y fomentamos sus aptitudes para sobresalir en el futuro. Los torneos académicos que realiza IAC sirven para identificar voces emergentes que son talentos académicos que sobresalen por encima de los procesos ya están establecidos dentro del sistema educativo implementado por las escuelas. Las pruebas que hacemos durante nuestro torneos de bee (abeja) and bowl (tazón} ayuda a destacar a estos estudiantes, premiándolos y reconociendo sus habilidades para sobresalir en el dominio de una materia.
