IAA STUCO

HELLO EVERYONE!!

Remember Tomorrow is FREE DRESS DAY!! Everyone please come free dress, but remember to follow the free dress day school dress code!

This is the Spirit Week schedule starting tomorrow, Jan. 12:

Monday: Wacky/Inside out Day
This means you can come with your clothes inside-out and dress up in any other crazy way like with different shoes on each foot, etc.

Tuesday: Twin Day
Twin day can be done by more than two people, but you all have to dress alike.

Wednesday: House Shirts (pep rally)

Thursday: Day of Mourning
This day we will all wear ALL BLACK to mourn the loss of our opposing teams during AASSA.

Friday: Color Day
During this day each class grade must decide on ONE COLOR of clothes they will all wear. Each grade should be different so ask students of other grades what their color is so that there are no two classes with the same color (although if that happens it isn't a problem for StuCo, it's really up to the classes).

Activities during Pep rally, Wed., Jan. 14:
Girls play Knockout
Boys play a soccer game

Remember everyone, Spirit Week's purpose is to cheer on our teams participating in AASSA this week, so lets show more spirit than ever by taking part in these activities! GO SHARKS!!!

P.S. Friendly reminded, the fact that we are dressing up doesn't mean we can come dressed to school the way we like. There is a dress code for free dress days in the student hand book. If you don't remember the rules, take another look at it. Spirit week is not a time to break the dress code, its a time to cheer your team up. Thank You.

Hello everybody! Here to remind you that tomorrow is the StuCo Pizza sale, so don't forget to support us by buying some delicious pizza! Also, if any of you are interested in providing anything for the StuCo and NHS Auction that is taking place next Monday, please let your class' StuCo member so that he can add it to our list.

IAA Students! Don't forget tomorrow is our Unity Day! Remember that white shirts and t-shirts are NOT allowed and you have to bring extra clothes and towels as we have some activities that involve water. Also, please note that StuCo is not responsible for lost or damages items so make sure they're stored safely while the activity takes place. Activities begin at 12:55 at the covered area so make sure you eat lunch or grab a snack between 12:20 and then. See you all tomorrow!!

Hello Everybody! WE DID IT! The StuCo Lock-In will be happening tomorrow, and we have a few reminders for you all. First, TOMORROW IS FREE DRESS DAY during class time! If you come free dress you have to pay $1, but If you paid for the Lock-In you DO NOT have to pay that $1. Remember to follow the dress code for free dress days. Second, remember that we are having some pool time during the Lock-In, so don't forget to bring your swim wear and extra clothes! Also, feel free to bring snacks, board games, and things like pillows and blankets for the night. If you have any Questions please leave them in the comments or ask Mariana Lopez or Melissa Gutierrez. Let's have a great time tomorrow guys!

EVERYONE! The StuCo Lock-In is scheduled for this Friday (21st of November), so please don't forget to turn in your permission slips before this Thursday at 2:30. It has already been re-scheduled due to a lack of students attending, so please, if you want a Lock-In this year, turn in your permission slips on time. High-schoolers, I ask you to think of how excited you were for the Lock-In to happen when you were in middle school, so don't take this opportunity away from them and attend. Remember, we need a minimum of 50 people to make this lock in happen. LET'S GO SHARKS!!!

Hello everybody! Here's a last minute announcement for you: There is a soccer tournament happening right now, so if any of the middle and high school students want to show some spirit for their teams, they can! Tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday you can all attend school wearing either a team jersey or a shirt with the color of whatever team you are a fan of. The team doesn't have to be part of the tournament. REMEMBER you can only wear a SHIRT to show your spirit, the rest of your clothes (pants/skirt and shoes) must follow the IAA Dress Code.

Hello Everyone! Remember! Tomorrow is the Pep-Rally during block D and bring your House Shirts! For more info please look at our previous status.

ps. STUCO MEMBERS! Remember to bring TOWELS for tomorrow's activity!

The AASSA Volleyball Pep-Rally will take place this Monday (October 27) during block D! We will be playing Balloon Volleyball and will be divided into our houses, but this activity will not count as house points. REMEMBER to bring clothes that you are OK with getting wet. LET'S HAVE FUN SHARKS!!

The StuCo Lock-In has been POSTPONED to the 21st of November due to the lack of students attending! If you payed, please ask Mr. Nonnenkamp for your refund. We will remind you when we start accepting permission slips for the next date!!!!

Tomorrow is BUSINESS FORMAL DAY! Please remember to come to school dressed to show your spirit!!!

HELLO EVERYONE! Tomorrow Spirit Week continues with TWIN DAY!! Make sure to plan an outfit with your friends! It can be more than two people, but only if all of you dress alike! Let's show our volleyball teams that we're cheering them on, and HAVE FUN! :D

PS. Thank you everyone who came dress today for Super Villain day, but remember, I saw many of you in free dress clothes "Claiming" that you were a villain. I have already notified the school authorities so if it happens again tomorrow, don't be surprised when they sanction you. It is in your hands whether to make the best of Spirit Week, so please follow the school dress code! HAVE A NICE DAY :)!
