e the agricultural fields where people stablished before National Park was created on 1960. The expansion of the agricultural fields and cattle ranches have diminished the natural habitat of this bird and the introduced species such as rats, cats, pigs and dogs represent a serios treat to the petrel population. Our work focuses on collaborating with landowners who are now joining and committing to protecting nests found on their farms.
