A possessive noun: is a noun that possesses (owns) something _i.e. It has something.

Generally we add ('s) but in some cases we add only (')
للاشارة الى أسماء الملكية نضيف( s') في آخر اسم المالك وفي بعض الحالات نضيف (')
We use (whose) to ask about possessive nouns.
"Whose" dog is this? İt is "John's"

N.B. You add either "S" or "ES" to nouns ends in "F"-" Fe" or "O"
EX: wife - wives (Always add v instead of f)
/ roof- roofs
piano- pianos / potato- potatoes
You just need to memorise the most common plural nouns. There is no rule.
