📚✨ Remediation & General Revision Week ✨📚
Dear colleagues,
As we step into the 2nd and the 3rd sessions of the first week of the new school year 2025/2026, this period will be dedicated to remedial work and general revision.
🩹📑 Remedial work after a diagnostic assessment is supposed to be a bridge between identifying students’ learning weaknesses and enabling them to improve their skills and/or overcome these gaps.
The aim is to consolidate last year’s knowledge, refresh essential grammar and vocabulary (e.g., grammar rules, vocabulary use, tense confusion...), and ensure a smooth transition into new lessons.
During this week, teachers will focus on:
🔸 Highlighting common mistakes from the diagnostic assessment, writing them on the whiteboard, start discussing them, explaining and correcting them together
🔸 Selecting and adapting the activities and rules.
🔸 Re-teaching in brief these concepts, focusing only on what was difficult so that weak students can improve and other students can build stronger foundations.
🔸 Reviewing key grammar points and language skills.
🔸 Identifying strengths and areas that need reinforcement.
🔸 Preparing students for the upcoming units with confidence and clarity.
🖇️ Wishing all our students and teachers a productive and successful revision week.
