British Council UK-Algeria cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
ELT Seminars
1. Concept :
The ELT seminar will comprise of a series of one day event for between 150-300 ELT teachers - participants in different cities in Algeria. The seminar will be a combination of the concept of the AELTPN and the ELT seminar and will made up of high quality, one day event delivered by 01 UK expert. Additionally, the event will be an opportunity for British Council to meet new stakeholders and potential partners in ELT across a wider area of the country.
2. Aims:
• To maintain contact with ELT Teachers
• Further develop our support for the ELT sector in Algeria and create the potential sustainability.
• Widen the variety of the British Council activities and events
• Enhancing the quality of ELT
• Respond to the need for CPD from Algeria teachers
• CPD for ELT practitioners in Algeria
• Pioneering plan to bring something new to the ELT field which has not been done previously by any other organisation.
Timing: 01 day suggested in three cities.
Date: from 20 to 24 January 2019
Location: centre (Algiers, Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou)
