المعنى الحرفي : لدي الكثير في طبقي
But what does this really mean?
لكن ماهو المعنى الحقيقي للجملة؟
This means you're really busy and your schedule is full. We use it instead of i'm busy
تعني أن يكون لديك الكثير من الأشياء للقيام بها
Example: i have a lot of on my plate these days

Two friends are taking a road trip
One needs to go to the toilet
A: i think we need to make a pit stop.
B: why?
A : i need to take a leak.
B: Oh OK! i can also grab a bite.
A: Yeah there is a service area right there.
B: alright let me pull over.
pit stop = a pause or a break on a road trip (استراحة)
to take a leak =go to the toilet (الذهاب الى الحمام)
grab a bite =get something to eat (إحضار شىء لتناوله)
a service area = roadside area with services(محطة خدمات)
pull over = move to the side of the road (توقيف السيارة )

A: there are a lot of sales right now, so you can find a deal.

حقا؟ لماذا الان؟

3 Essential phrasal verbs that you'll hear or use all of the time in English:
1_ Get along ننسجم او نكون على وفاق : if you get along with someone means to have a friendly relationship with someone.
Example : thank you i hope we get along.
شكرا لك امل ان نكون على وفاق.
And like many brothers, they don't get along.
ومثل الكثير الاخوة انهم ليسو على وفاق.
2_ put off تأجيل: if you put off a task or a work it means you postpone it.
Example: He was putting off a vacation beacause he has been working so hard
كان يؤجل عطلته لأنه كان يعمل بجد.
Many people put off to tomorrow what they should do today.
معظم الناس يؤجلون إلى الغد ماكان ينبغي عليهم فعله بالأمس.
3_ Look for يبحث عن : if you look for something you are trying to find it.
Example: I always have to look for my keys when i leave the house.
ابحث دائما عن مفاتيحي عند مغادرتي المنزل.
So we have to look for the reasons behind these failures.
إذن علينا أن نبحث عن الأسباب الحقيقية وراء هذه الإخفاقات.

1_We observe Ramadan in the ninth month of the islamic calendar .

2_To fast is when you do not eat any food and do not drink any liquid.
يصوم معناه عدم الأكل والشرب اي نوع من الماكولات والمشروبات.
3_ i am fasting أنا صائم
4_are you fasting? هل انت صائم ؟
5_ May Allah accepts your fasting تقبل الله صيامكم

What is the difference between hard and Hardly ?
Hard means that it is really difficult to do
بمعنى صعب جدا
Example:
The exam was really hard. كان الامتحان صعب جدا
Hardly has an other meaning
عندها معنى اخر وهو : بالكاد
I am lazy, so i hardly study.
انا كسول، أنا بالكاد أدرس
