Charlie Chaplin, the most famous comedian in the history of cinema, says:
When I was young, I went with my father to see a show in the circus, we stood in a long line to get tickets, and in front of us was a family of six children, mother and father, and poverty was evident on them, their clothes were old but clean, and the boys were very happy while they were talking about the circus, and after they Their turn came. The father went to the ticket counter and asked about the price of the ticket. When the ticket office worker told him about its price, the father stammered, and whispered to his wife, signs of embarrassment visible on his face!
I saw my father had taken twenty dollars out of his pocket, and threw it on the ground, then bent down and picked it up, and put his hand on the man's shoulder and said to him: Your money has fallen!
The man looked at my father and said to him with tears in his eyes: Thank you, sir!
And after they entered, my father pulled me by the hand, and we retreated from the queue, because he only had the twenty dollars that he gave to the man!
And since that day I am proud of my father, that situation was the most beautiful show I have ever seen in my life, much more beautiful than even a circus show that I have not seen!
I have always believed that education is by example, not by theorizing.
