Country's first Online CoronaThon-19 Ended at Daffodil International University
3-day long (May 02-04) CoronaThon-19 which is a “Hackathon on Combating the Coronavirus' in online platform ended on May 04, 2020. Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Honorable State Minister, ICT Division, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications & Information Technology, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh closed the CoronaThon-19 as the chief guest while Professor Dr. M. Kaikobad, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology was present as the special guest.

again proved it's Internationalization and ICT based activities by successfully completing (A Hackathon on Combating the Coronavirus).
This is the first international online Hackathon completely done using technology during this Corona Lock-down period.
Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications & ICT, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh inaugurated the Inaugural ceremony on 2nd May 2020 as the chief guest and Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, Honorable State Minister, Information and Communication Technology Division, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was present at the Closing ceremony as the chief guest today.
Congratulations! to all projects winners for their innovative solutions which will help all of us to take precaution & prevention to fight against unseen enemy like Corona virus. Now its your turn to complete the project where DIU will help you by funding and time to time guidance.
