To cajole:
To impose on or dupe by flattering speech.
Budge up:
Move to make space for someone.
Example:
We had to BUDGE UP to let the fourth person in the back of the car.

Definition:
If you tell someone not to rock the boat, you are asking them to do nothing that might cause trouble or upset a stable situation.Example:
After the recent riots, it was decided not to rock the boat by introducing strict measures.
veneer:
Outside show or elegance.
regicide:
The killing of a king or sovereign.
rats in the attic:
If you say that someone has rats in the attic, you mean that they are a bit mad or that their behaviour is eccentric.
Example:She keeps repeating the same question. I think she's got rats in the attic.
Fit in with:
Occur or happen in a way that shows that plans or ideas have not changed.
Example: His rudeness yesterday FITS IN WITH what I have always thought of his behaviour.
