• تأسس المسجد والمدرسة القرءانية التابعة له خلال السبعينيات من القرن الماضي، وأول من أم به الناس للصلاة الشيخ سيد احمد كنتاوي رحمه الله ودرس به أطفال المسلمين بتحفيظهم القرءان باللوح والدواة .
• واستخلفه من بعده على المدرسة خلال زمن التسعينات ابنه الشيخ محمد كنتاوي وعلى المسجد ابنه الشيخ أمحمد كنتاوي شيخ الزاوية الرقادية الكنتية حاليا .
وأشرف على تدريس الطلبة أنذاك كذالك الشيخ عبد الباسط شنتير بن زيطة من ولاية أدرار . حيث عرفت المدرسة ارتقاء كبيرا في مستوى التحفيظ وقراءة القرءان . و أقيم على شرف الخاتمين لكتاب الله عدة مناسبات تقليدية تكريما لهم .
• سنة 2003 انضم لطاقم التدريس الشيخ بوحمو حسان والذي هو المشرف على تدريس الطالبات حاليا .
• وفي سنة 2005 أعيد بناء المسجد والمدرسة التابعة له واصبح بشكله الحالي الآن
سنة 2007 اشرف على تدريس الطلبة الشيخ بودواية محمد من تيميمون وخلال هاته السنة كذلك انضم الشيخ خليفة محمد ولا يزال مدرسا قائما بالطلبة الى يومنا هذا .
• في سنة 2009 استخلف على المسجد والمدرسة التابعة له الشيخ سيد احمد درار، و
في عهده عرفت المدرسة القرءانية انضباطا وحرصا في تعليم القرءان وشهدت تطورا في برامج الدراسة واهتماما بالغا بالطلبة والطالبات، تخرج على يده حفظة وخاتمين للقرءان الكريم وأقيم على شرفهم حفلا ختاميا مشهودا في أفريل 2015 .
• استخلف الشيخ سيد احمد درار الشيخ بن يوسف عبد الله سنة 2016 والذي هو قائم بإمامة المسجد الى يومنا هذا والمشرف على المدرسة .
• سنة 2017 تغير نظام المدرسة وتمت إعادة هيكلتها وإدخال النظام العصري إليها بقدوم الشيخ محمد الأمين بن براهيم وبمعونة الشيخ أيوب معطاالله، المتخرجان على يد الشيخ سيد احمد درار حفظه الله ، حيث تم تفويج التلاميذ وتقسيمهم الى صغارا واواسط واكابر وقسم نظام التدريس الى دورات ( دورة شتوية وصيفية وخريفية ودروة شهر رمضان ) .
• نمت المدرسة خلال هذه السنوات الأخيرة بشكل متزايد جدا مقارنة بسنواتها الماضية وعرفت اقبالا كبيرا للطلبة من مختلف الأطوار التعليمية , وتنوعا في نشاطاتها ومن ذلك انتاج أفلام هادفة وبرامج مختلفة بمعية طلبة المدرسة القرءانية التابعة للمسجد.
وبفضل الله وبجهد هؤلاء المشايخ جميعا، ما يزال العطاء مستمرا، ففي شهر مارس من سنة 2019 أقيم حفل ختامي على شرف 13 خاتما وحافظا لكلام الله، حظي الحفظة منهم برحلة عمرة لبيت الله الحرام.

***An introduction to the msjed of Sid al-Mokhtar al-Konti and the Qur’anic school affiliated to it***
• The Msjed and the Qur'anic school affiliated to it were established during the seventies of the last century, and the first to lead people to prayer was Sheikh Sid Ahmed Kantawi, may God have mercy on him, and he taught Muslim children by memorizing the Qur'an with a tablet and inkwell.
• His successor to the school during the nineties was his successor, Sheikh Mohammad Kantawi, and to the msjed, his son Sheikh Mahammed Kantawi, the sheikh of the Al-Zawiya Al-Raqadia Al-Kontiya now. The teaching of students at that time was also supervised by Sheikh Abd al-Baset Shantir ben Zita from the Wilayat of Adrar. The school witnessed a significant improvement in the level of memorization and reading of the Qur’an. Several traditional occasions were held in honor of the two seals of the Book of God in their honor.
• In 2003, he joined the teaching staff, Sheikh Bouhammou Hassan, who is currently supervising the teaching of female students.
• In 2005, the msjed and the school affiliated to it were reconstructed and are now in their current form
In 2007, Sheikh Boudawaya Mohammad from Timimoun supervised the teaching of students, and during this year also Sheikh Khlifa Mohammad joined and is still a teacher with students to this day.
• In the year 2009, Sheikh Sid Ahmed Derrar was appointed as successor to the msjed and the school affiliated to it, and
During his reign, the Qur’anic school was disciplined and keen in teaching the Qur’an, and witnessed a development in study programs and great interest in male and female students. He graduated from his hand with two memorizers and two seals of the Holy Qur’an, and a remarkable closing ceremony was held in their honor in April 2015.
• Sheikh Sid Ahmed Derrar succeeded Sheikh Ben Youssef Abdallah in 2016, who is in charge of the msjed to this day and is the supervisor of the school.
• In the year 2017, the school system was changed and it was restructured and the modern system was introduced to it with the arrival of Sheikh Mohammad el-Amin BenBrahim and with the help of Sheikh Ayoub Maatallah, who graduated from Sheikh Sid Ahmed Derrar, may God protect him, where the students were grouped and divided into juniors, middle and seniors, and the teaching system was divided into courses (cycle Winter, summer, autumn and the period of Ramadan).
• The school has grown during these last years in a very increasing way compared to its previous years, and it has witnessed a great turnout for students from different educational levels, and a diversification in its activities, including the production of targeted films and various programs with the students of the Qur'anic school affiliated to the msjed. In March of the year 2019, a closing ceremony was held in honor of 13 seals and preservers of God’s words.
