MICROSOFT Partners in Learning recognized the institution as a Pathfinder School in July 2012; and in December 2012 the school was also entitled “Mentor School” after it demonstrated a commitment to innovation and the ability to overcome obstacles in preparing students to be 21st century learners. “Mentor Schools are recognized leaders who have achieved change within their own education systems and constitute an elite group of leading-edge schools from around the world as part of the Microsoft Schools Program.” On November 2014 NDS received a higher status when it become a Showcase School as part of a global community of elite educational institutions.
