These past months have been heartbreaking as we saw Laura and Andres go, yet we rejoice in knowing that they have been reunited and are now basking in the good glory of our Father.
I have to say, that there are honestly no words to describe how amazing Rafael and Consuelo, their parents, are. Thank you for showing us that our strength is safe guarded within Christ and his Hope. Rafael, I have never seen someone so strong as to speak and thank others and be their comfort when everything seems so uncertain; your prayer was one of the rawest and most beautiful we have ever heard. Consuelo, in the face of darkness you proclaimed the Gospel, your word and testimony are forever engraved in our minds and hearts.

Ode to Stories that We Never Got to Tell
This poem is
An ode to the hearts that remain,
An ode to their lives full of days,
An ode more for us than for them,
An ode to stories we never got to tell.

An ode to the broken hearts full of hope,
To uninterrupted lives that this broke,
An ode,
To the hurting and the lost,
To the confused; to the mad.

Perhaps an ode to the remembrance of yester years,
And the dreams frustrated by recent shortcomings,
An ode for us, the ones who remain.

An ode to hope and tomorrow and at last a land of endlessness,
An ode to their amazing lives lacking worthlessness.

An ode to the memory of who they are,
An ode to the stories that we never got to tell,
And the places we never got to go,
Because it well pleased the Lord,
That you told stories to us only imaginable,
And went to places to us unfathomable.

Yes, this poem is
An ode to the mockery of death,
And what’s left of it,
That old snake,
And ode to life and the promise still:
That He will one day wipe our tears.

Hola a todos,

Drasus esta de luto. Nuestra Laura se ha ido con el Señor.

Que doloroso es saber que, como cuerpo que somos, una parte muy importante de nosotros se ha ido de este mundo. Aunque hoy estemos tristes, encontramos consuelo ya que sabemos que nuestra querida Laura Arias se ha ido con nuestro Dios. Oramos para que Dios fortalezca a su familia, que El les de fuerza y que puedan sentir el amor de Cristo en este dia tan dificil para todos los que tuvimos la dicha de conocer a Laura.

Drasus'14 recuerda a nuestra Laura por el amor que siempre brindaba, en especial con los mas pequeños, por ser una buena amiga, una persona leal, una persona que siempre pensaba en el bienestar de los demas antes que el de ella misma, Laura era respetuosa, amorosa y amable. Tambien la recordaremos por ser la unica persona del curso que tenia el estuche lleno de los mejores colores, felpas, lapiceros y por siempre compartirlos con nosotros, por siempre tener las cartulinas mas chulas y por ser una pate muy importante de nuestras vidas.

Nuestro corazon esta roto y nunca volvera a ser igual ya que una parte de nosotros se ha ido. Se fue antes de tiempo, pero Dios la necesitaba con El.

Queremos que sepan que aunque Drasus se encuentre en diferentes regiones del mundo, Drasus esta mas unido que nunca orando por la familia de nuestra Laura y dandonos apoyo mutuo. Todos ustedes estan en nuestros corazones, pensamientos y oraciones.

El vacio quedara y nadie podra reemplazar a nuestra Laura. Es dificil asimilar que Laura ya no este. Todos crecimos con Laura. Laura estuvo en la promocion desde el 1998 y toco la vida de todos los que pasamos por el King's Christian School. En estos ultimos 18 años hemos compartido muchas cosas importantes desde nuestro primer dia de clases hasta nuestro ultimo, del primer diente que mudamos, la primera vez que hicimos un Bake Sale y un Color Day, nuestro lanzamiento de promocion y nuestra graduacion.

Estamos en paz porque sabemos que Dios la tiene a Su lado, pero estamos con el corazon roto porque se nos fue nuestra amiga y hermana. Hoy nos unimos como un solo cuerpo una vez mas para glorificar y exhaltar el nombre de Dios porque Sus planes son perfectos, aun cuando no los entendamos, Laura no esta fisicamente con nosotros, pero el amor y las sonrisas que nos brindo a cada uno de nosotros y como nos hizo sentir se queda con nosotros hasta que Dios nos llame.

Laura, hermana, fue una bendicion tenerte en nuestras vidas. Fuiste y seras muy especial para nosotros. Te queremos y te extrañamos mucho.

And now we can say "Ebenezer" for God has been good and has helped us. It was a very emotional moment. We are very thankful to God, because regardless of all the ups and downs, we are still one big family. Thank you to everyone that was physically and emotionally there yesterday. It meant a lot to us. It makes us sad that we're not going to see each other every single day, but even though most of us are going separate ways, we will always be together. Drasus is a family. Drasus is our family. May God keep us close, even if we're apart. We did it!

I love you, Drasus. 🎓❤️

Time flies…it has been a wonderful year. I can't believe that in just FIVE days we are finally graduating! We are very thankful to God, VERY, and we are also thankful to all of you that helped us through our last year. Thank you! Without you supporting us, it wouldn't have been the same. THANK YOU!//El tiempo vuela…ha sido un maravilloso año. No puedo creer que en tan solo CINCO dias porfin nos graduaremos! Estamos muy agradecidos de Dios, MUY, y tambien estamos agradecidos por todos ustedes que nos ayudaron en nuestro ultimo año. Gracias! Sin ustedes no hubiese sido lo mismo. GRACIAS!

Gracias a todos por ir y apoyarnos en nuestra ultima actividad. Gracias por siempre estar apoyandonos en todas nuestras actividades. Nuestro ultimo año fue excelente y ustedes influyeron en eso. Dios nos bendijo demasiado este año. No hay palabras para expresar nuestra gratitud, pero intentaremos de resumirlo en una palabra: ¡Gracias!
