As we close Book Month, April stands as a powerful reflection of what reading looks like when it is truly lived across every level of St. Patrick📚✨ What began as a month dedicated to books became a collection of moments where stories were shared, explored, and brought to life in meaningful ways.

From Early Childhood classrooms filled with families reading side by side, to Elementary students connecting with visiting authors and discovering the process behind every story, each experience added depth to our reading journey. In Middle and High School, the Book Fair became a space for ownership and creativity, where students transformed their understanding into projects that made reading visible, personal, and relevant. 💚

We closed this chapter with Aladino Aplatanao’, written and performed by our 9th Grade students, a moment where literature moved beyond the page and became expression, identity, and collaboration on stage. 🎭✨

Closing Book Month is not the end, but a continuation. Because through St. Patrick Reads, we are building a culture where reading is constant, intentional, and deeply connected to the way our students think, communicate, and grow. 🌿

Up close with science🫀✨

Our 7th Grade students explored heart anatomy through a cow heart dissection, turning theory into observation and questions into understanding. Examining structure, identifying key parts, and making real connections, an experience that strengthens curiosity, precision, and scientific thinking. 💚

Stories that connect us to who we are 🇩🇴📚✨

As part of St. Patrick Reads, our 4th Grade students welcomed author César Sánchez Beras, sharing a meaningful encounter around his book Érase una vez la Patria.

A space for questions, reflection, and discovery, where reading becomes a bridge between history, identity, and imagination. Moments like this strengthen our reading culture and remind us that every story has the power to inspire, teach, and shape the way we understand our world 💚

A conversation that matters. 🇩🇴✨

Congresswoman Selinée Méndez, alongside our alumna Melany Ramírez, engaged our students in a meaningful dialogue about the role of youth in the Dominican Republic. Questions, perspectives, and ideas shared in a space where students are encouraged to think critically and recognize the impact of their voice. 💚 Because understanding their role today is what shapes the leaders they are becoming. 🌿

A day of purpose 🏠💚

Tomorrow, our Family Field Day will bring the St. Patrick community together not only to celebrate teamwork, energy, and family moments, but also to support Fundación TECHO and the meaningful work they do for families in need!

Every cheer, every game, and every shared moment will become part of something bigger. A reminder that when a community comes together, it can create real impact✨
