The Caribbean Sea is home to one of the most striking and vibrant fish species - the parrotfish. These stunning diving companions are named after their beak-like mouth, which closely resembles that of a parrot. However, their uniqueness doesn't stop there. Parrotfish go through dramatic color and appearance changes throughout their lives, and as adults, they display even more vibrant and brilliant hues.

In addition to their stunning appearance, parrotfish have fascinating feeding behavior. They use their specialized teeth to grind and chew on coral and algae, extracting the necessary nutrients. This makes them the true "gardeners of the Caribbean reef"!

Today we celebrate the great achievement of the Dressel Divers Playa del Carmen Base Leader, Marcello 🍻🎉🏅
He started at Dressel Divers Punta Cana in 2012, with our internship program, and did our PADI IDC Dominican Republic - Dressel Divers to become a Dive instructor. He worked in our Dominican bases; Dressel Divers Hard Rock and Dressel Divers Bayahibe.
Then, he moved to Mexico to work in Dressel Divers Paraiso, Dressel Divers Cozumel, Dressel Divers Puerto Aventuras, and assisted in many of our PADI IDC Mexico - Dressel Divers there.
Finally, he achieved the highest level in the scuba diving industry, PADI COURSE DIRECTOR 😱
