GRI GRI Carribean Dive College in conjunction with FUNDEMAR are please to be hosting for the 3rd summer... Rustic Pathways

"Beginning two summers ago, FUNDEMAR teamed up with Rustic Pathways, a teen travel company, to create an amazing program for students. From June until August, we have four Rustic Pathways groups coming to participate in our marine conservation and restoration program we have made. Students become a vital part of our team as they contribute to the extensive data we have on marine mammal populations in the Bayahibe area, help the community by measuring beach erosion and cleaning trash off the beaches, and even learn how to build a coral garden. With each one of the Rustic Pathways’ groups, we concentrate on Bayahibe and how the students can make a difference in the community, essentially, giving them an awareness for the environment and the world around them."

In the first photo is the students building cement weights for the coral reef buoys and the second photo is the students cutting frames for Fundemar's coral gardens.

LAST MONTH .... we had the pleasure of taking Yuri Krainov out for some Free Dive training in the Atlantic! As you can see from the video it was a very successful day for us and for Yuri as he accomplished his goals. CONGRATULATIONS YURI!

In our Bavaro location, we recently has the opportunity to train 2 talented youngsters in their BUBBLEMAKER Course. Looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for these little girls and guys, I see great things to come in their Diving Careers. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
