Students will participate in check-in, a welcome ceremony, faculty and major introductions, a master seminar, campus tour, social activities and family orientation.

Dominica State College Welcomes the Class of 2028 with Freshers’ Week 2026!

-On the heels of its 26th Orientation Ceremony, the Dominica State College (DSC) is set to host Freshers’ Week 2026, September 1-4. This special week marks the official welcome of the Class of 2028, with approximately 500 freshmen expected to join the DSC community.

Freshers’ Week is designed to equip new students with the tools and resources they need for academic success, while also serving as a vibrant introduction to college life. It reflects DSC’s commitment to ensuring that every new student experience a smooth and supportive transition into higher education.

Some of the most in-demand programs this time around include: Certificate in Pre-Health, Associate Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration (General), Biology and Architecture, as well as BSc Business Management.

From September 1-4, incoming students will participate in a series of orientation and registration activities designed to help them get acclimated to campus, familiarize themselves with college life, and get settled ahead of the start of classes on September 8.

DSC eagerly looks forward to welcoming the Graduating Class of 2028, committed to supporting their success, growth, and lasting memories throughout their journey at the College.
