4. Fluency (ချောမွေ့ဖတ်နိုင်မှု)

5. Comprehension (နားလည်မှု)

LETTER SOUND ဆိုတာဘာလဲ?
Letter sound ဆိုတာက အက္ခရာ (letters) တစ်လုံးချင်းစီက ထွက်တဲ့ အသံ (sound) ကို ဆိုလိုပါတယ်။
ဥပမာ A → /a/
B → /b/
C → /k/
ဘာကြောင့် အရေးကြီးလဲ?
• စာဖတ်နိုင်ဖို့ အခြေခံဖြစ်ပါတယ်
• စာလုံးတွေကို ပေါင်းဖတ်နိုင်လာစေပါတယ်
• Phonics learning အတွက် အရေးကြီးပါတယ်
ဥပမာ c + a + t → cat

❓Sight words ဆိုတာ ဘာလဲ ? ❓
Sight words ဆိုတာက ကလေးတွေက အသံဖတ်စရာမလိုပဲ တစ်ချက်ကြည့်တာနဲ့ ချက်ချင်းမှတ်မိဖတ်နိုင်တဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေ ကို ဆိုလိုပါတယ်။
ဥပမာ — the, is, and, you, said, come စတဲ့ စကားလုံးတွေပါ။ အများအားဖြင့် စာဖတ်တဲ့အခါ မကြာခဏတွေ့ရတဲ့ basic words တွေဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

❓Sight words ကို ဘာလို့ လေ့လာသင့်လဲ❓
1. Reading fluency တိုးတက်စေတယ်
Sight words တွေကို ချက်ချင်းမှတ်မိနိုင်ရင် စာဖတ်တဲ့အခါ အဆင်ပြေပြေ ဖတ်နိုင်ပြီး fluency ကောင်းလာပါတယ်။
2. Reading speed မြန်လာတယ်
စကားလုံးတိုင်းကို phonics နဲ့ ခွဲဖတ်စရာမလိုတော့တာကြောင့် စာဖတ်မြန်လာပါတယ်။
