PhD in Explorative Physical Computing and Interaction Design

We invite applications that describe an interdisciplinary PhD project within interaction design and tangible/physical computing with a research-through-design-oriented approach. Preferably, the project should have an exploratory and/or critical/speculative approach to e.g. near-future scenarios. While the project, in a substantial way, should draw on insights from technical fields, the main research contributions should be within the interaction design / human-computer interaction perspective. Within this framing, the actual choice of subject matter is quite open.

På mandag den 23. oktober får vi besøg af Girls In IT - Zealand mellem kl. 16 og 18 i lokale 10.2-049.

Vi vil gerne invitere dig til at kigge forbi, nyde en sandwich og agere ambassadør for vores uddannelser samt være en rollemodel for vores kommende kvindelige studerende.

Girls In IT - Zealand er en studenterorganisation med det formål at skabe et rum for kvinder, hvor de kan opbygge netværk, danne venskaber, og finde støtte samt deltage i forskellige workshops og inspirerende arrangementer.



Program for arrangementet er som følger:

DDSA PhD Fellowship Call 2024

PhD in interdisciplinary studies of digital security and/or privacy

The PhD-school at the Department of People and Technology, Roskilde University, invites applications for a position as PhD Fellow in the PhD programme in Information Technology from April 1st, 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.

We invite applications that describe an interdisciplinary PhD project concerning technologies for digital security and/or privacy. Interdisciplinary is in the sense of combining technical fields related to digital security/privacy with other fields of relevance to the design, use, evaluation and effective application of such technologies. Relevant fields include, but are not limited to, fields that are human-centered (e.g., usable security, trust), societal (e.g., citizens’ participation) or organizational (e.g., implementation of security/privacy policies or standards in enterprises). While the project must use, in a substantial way, insights from both technical and other fields, the project’s main research contributions can be in a single field only.
