Ranum Efterskole College is the global department of Ranum Efterskole, which is a bilingual Danish/International independent residential school for learners between the ages of 14 and 18. Ranum Efterskole is founded on the philosophies of ‘Inclusive Community and Learning’ and ‘Participatory Democracy’. We believe it to be our prime objective to provide a framework in which learners and teachers in unity contribute to the development of school curricular and activities, in order to ensure our learners an understanding of community, democracy and responsibility, whilst also nurturing their personal development, their passions, interests and skills. We strive to provide an environment where learners feel safe, protected, supported and encouraged in their own personalised learning journey. When they leave our community, we want them to feel prepared and empowered to share their experiences with the world. Ranum Efterskole College is part of a non-sectarian residential school and more than 300 learners from all over the world study at Ranum Efterskole. We welcome each and every one, who wishes to be enrolled in our programs and contribute to our continuous growth and development.

🌎 Update from South Korea 🇰🇷️

With our principal, Olav, in front, Ranum Efterskole College was introductory speaker on South Korea's first education convention about independent schools, Happy Education Expo. The convention was introduced by the South Korean Minister of Education and the approx. 500 participants showed a great interest in our school. Therefore, we hope to see even more international learners at Ranum in the coming years 😀
