Te queremos club El Globito! ⚽️🫶 One of the most heartwarming places on our travel, where volunteers are giving kids and families both a social club and the chance to play football. We made pizzas together, played matches, talked, had fun and went cheering for the 1st league that played later that day 🥳🥁

Today, March 24, is a holiday in Argentina known as the Day of Remembrance for Truth and Justice (Día de la Memoria por la Verdad y la Justicia). This public holiday commemorates the victims of the military dictatorship that ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1983, a period often referred to as the "Dirty War." The day is marked by peaceful rallies and marches, with citizens, relatives of the disappeared, and human rights organizations gathering to remember the victims and demand justice for the crimes committed during that era.

Dia 10
Today we visited the local football club 'El Globito'. El Globito offers the children a sense of football community and free meals. So we started out making pizzas for the kids. And the staff made us sandwiches as well. We got the chance to talk to the kids and then we played football with the them. Later we walked to the stadium to see a bigger match. That we unfortunately had to leave early because of rain. So we ended the evening by eating steak, empanadas and fries for dinner.

Dia 9
Today we went to carnival event and there was people dancing and people playing different kind of drums. After the show the boys practiced playing the drums while the girls danced and then we did a little show and ate lunch. The rest of the day we just relaxed and did what we wanted to do. After that we all took a bus to town and just relax until 9 to get dinner. After dinner we went back and sleep.

Hola todos!! Este es el 8 día , and today we did día de campo meaning countryside day, a traditional rural culture that highlights nature and gaucho traditions. We started of the day with breakfast outside by the cabañas and afterwards we relaxed by the pools until after lunch where we drove to the location for our día de campo, where we watched a beautiful folk dance performance and danced ourselves too!! As well as delicious food, the HOT weather 🥵 foam wars and riding horses!! The local TV station also joined us !! Buenas Noches a todos por Grace y Nisa 😄

We traveld early in the morning, we drove for 5 hours and then we just chillede at the pool. Afterwards we went to Rominas hometown, and got some nice food and went home to sleep after a long day.

Club Danés Nechochea 🇦🇷🇩🇰 A Danish community in Argentina with roots back to the Danish immigration in 1920-1930. We were met with such a warm welcome and lots of 'hygge', talks, 'frikadellos' and life stories from those who have mixed the two beautiful cultures 🙏

Meeting local students 🤩🇦🇷🇩🇰 It was amazing to feel the excitement between the Colegio argentino-danés Alta Mira and Ranum 🙌 We shared presentations about each our school and culture, had lunch together, drank mate 🧉 and got so many new friends. Thank you for a great day!

Dia 6
Vi startede dagen ud med lækker morgenmad i solen, derefter blev vi hentet af vores bus og kørt ud til den danske klub i Necchoea. Vi mødte mænd og kvinder der alle snakkede flydende dansk selvom de fleste slet ikke havde været i Danmark. De gav os en rundvisning af deres klub og fortalte at klubben var en af de ældste bygninger i byen, og var blevet brugt til mange fester igennem årene. Efter rundvisning fik vi snakket med de dansk-argentinske mennesker og hørte en masse om deres historie og forhold til Danmark. Vi fik serveret lækker frokost bestående af tapas, frikadeller og flødekartofler efterfulgt af kage bord! De var alle super venlige og ville glædeligt fortælle om deres forhold til Danmark og hvordan de stadigvæk følte sig mere hjemme i Danmark end Argentina, selv om de hele deres liv havde boet i Argentina. Vi fik givet dem vores danske gaver og blev kørt til stranden, hvor vi fik badet i de vilde bølger og slikket noget sol. Til aften var vi ude og spise lækker mad og har nu pakket og er klar på de nye eventyr i morgen.
