As part of the broad introduction to Danish agriculture to our students from SHAFC/Shanghai Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry, it was natural to use the Danish Pig Academy as entrance to the subjects about the pig industry 🐷

Celebrating Year 10 of collaboration with Agricultural Research and Technology Institute/ATRI and Ministry of Agriculture/MoA in Taiwan. Usual training sessions last week, and today summary-seminar with participants from earlier years, showing their progress in hard numbers, as well as interesting changes in the soft skills 🇹🇼🇩🇰🔟

During a chilly start of February, we had the pleasure to host the kick-off event of a two-year ERASMUS+ program on development of cooperatives. Participants from Romania, Netherland and Germany joined both classroom presentations, workshops and debates, as well as farm-/company visits in the Southern part of Denmark. We look forward to continue the cooperation 🤗

Today, Dalum is represented in a Net Zero seminar in Taiwan, for knowledge sharing on reducing carbon footprint in livestock production 🇹🇼🇩🇰

Today, our Embassy welcomes 2 technical experts from Dalum Academy of Agricultural Business (https://dalumls.com), a Danish institution offering tailor-made courses and practical training in agriculture to Ghana. This visit follows that of their counterpart, TECHCOLEGE Denmark in December 2023.

During their four-day visit, the team will have meetings with key stakeholders in the sector and visits to farms and cattle markets. They will also participate in an interactive workshop on Technical and Vocational Education and Training within the livestock value chain at our Embassy on June 4, 2024.

This fact finding mission seeks to support Ghanaian farmers and strengthen Dalum Academy’s collaboration with their local anchor - Global Farming and Technology Institute based in Old Tafo, Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
