PF Foto - DTU

PF Foto - DTU PF Foto is the photo club at DTU. We are open for students, employees, Ph.D.s, faculty staff and others. We have regular club nights on Wednesdays at 6 PM.

Signups are possible on the first Wednesday in each month. PF-Foto is located in building 101 (entrance E) in the basement behind Kælderbaren. Go right and follow the hallway, our rooms are between ATM and PRG. We have two darkrooms packed with equipment for both black/white and colour film processing. Black and white chemistry (developer, fixer, stop, etc.) is free to use, just remember to bring

paper and negatives. We have bought an A2+ inkjet photo printer for the digital developer. As a member it is also possible to borrow equipment from the club, among others we have an analog medium format camera, a standard 35mm film camera and a digital SLR camera. The club also have a large studio at our disposal with studio flash equipment and backdrops. Have you never tried to work in a studio before this is quite fun. Furthermore we arrange events such as introduction to the studio and introduction to darkrooms and black/white chemistry. We go on trips e.g. Copenhagen by night, and we talk and share our photos.

Due to the exam period and the upcoming summer break, we will not host any introduction days and signups during the summer.

Hi All!

We have recently decided to move our club nights to Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays to avoid overlapping with DTU's evening course.
Therefore, the club activities will take place on Wednesdays at 19:00!

For people who are interested in signing up for the club, this now happens at introduction days which are on the first Wednesday of every month at 19:00 in the PF Foto club room.

Due to the summer vacation, there will not be regular club nights in July and August.
Write to us if you would like to come by and join the club, and we might be able to organize a meeting to sign you up.

We will be back to our regular schedule when the fall semester begins in September.
The first club meeting is on September 3rd.

Reminder that due to a studio introduction event, the club is not open for signup at 7 pm.

If you would like to join the event and potentially sign up afterwards, feel free to come by at 7 pm in our photo studio in the 101 basement.

Next week, Tuesday 28/11, we are hosting a studio introduction workshop for our members. The event starts at 19:00.
If you are not yet a member, but would like to see the club or sign up, you are welcome to join and we can take care of the signup procedure after the event!

To all those who want to sign up for the club, please be aware that next Tuesday, September 26, we have a general assembly.
Therefore, the club is not open for signups on that day.
We will be operating as normal from the week after that!

A new semester starts in the coming week, and PF Foto will be back from summer break!
We have club nights every Tuesday at 7 pm, where it is possible for new members to see the club and sign up as member. First club night is on Tuesday, August 29.
