[NYHEDSOPSLAG][NEWS, ENGLISH BELOW]
Hej alle

Et par stykker har allerede fået denne nyhed, men det er på tide at skrive ud sort på hvidt. Min kontrakt imellem jeg og DTU er på nuværende tidspunkt udløbet, og jeg er ikke længere ansat til at varetage SAFTs interesser. Jeg ser Chr. Hansen eventet til døren, og det er det.

SAFT stopper dog ikke med at eksistere. Det gør den i hvert fald ikke, hvis der er nogle andre studerende, som frivilligt vil overtage sædet. I et møde med ledelsen for et par uger siden blev vi enige om, at den fremtidige organisation skal gå fra et enligt job, til en egentlig studenter-organisation med flere aktive, håndhævende medlemmer.

Så har du lyst til at være med til at organisere og eksekvere events til fordel for dine medstuderende? Både med DTU, med industrien selv, samt umotiveret fordi der skal ske noget? Og har du lyst til at forme DTU foods studenterbase og gøre den lidt sjovere? Så send en mail til [email protected] med en motiveret ansøgning. Hvis nok interesse vises, kan der i fremtiden blive oprettet en general-forsamling. Seneste frist til udmelding sættes til d. 31/10, klokken 12. Arbejdet er ulønnet som det står nu.

Hi everybody

My contract between DTU and myself has expired, thus I am no longer employed to maintain SAFT and its interests. I will attend and finish the Chr. Hansen event, and that is it.

SAFT will not cease to exist though. It will not, at least as long as some other students are willing to take over the seat. In a meeting with my boss a few weeks ago, we agreed, that the future of the organization would possibly benefit to no longer be a sole person making events, but to become an actual student organization, with several active members.

So do you want to be a part of organizing and hosting these events for your fellow students? Both in tandem with DTU, with industry representatives, as well as unmotivated, just because something needs to happen? And you want to help shape the future student base of DTU food and make the DTU life a bit sweeter? Then send a mail to [email protected] with a motivated application. If enough interest is shown, a general assembly can take place in the future. Last date for application is 31st of October, at 12 o’ clock. The job is at the moment unpaid.

At BCG we would like to give you the opportunity to join the
DTU Exclusive Dinner
Wednesday the 12th of October, 2016.

The event will take place in our offices and end at Meyers Madhus in Nørrebro. You will enjoy an evening with other top performing students, where you will get a perspective on how to use your engineering skills in a business setting at BCG. In addition, you will have the chance to meet a number of BCG consultants with various backgrounds and get their perspectives on a career in management consulting.
After the formal program at our office, we will continue with a fun and learning cooking class, where we will make and enjoy a delicious dinner. During and after the dinner there will be great opportunity to network with the BCG consultants and the other students.

Jeg har tidligere skrevet ud omkring, at det ville være muligt at komme ud og se industri-bryggeriet Baldersbrønde Bryggeri A/S, hvor Nørrebro Bryghus for brygget alle deres flaskeøl. Rundvisningen samt information vil være i samarbejde med brygmesteren, Jakob Hørslev Hansen. Grundet at der er travlt på det seneste med eksamener, det ikke giver mening at oprette events uden deltagere, og vi ikke har modtaget nok feedback omkring efterspørgslen til dette arrangement, tilbyder vi følgende plan:

Hvis du vil deltage i dette arrangement, så skriv til [email protected], hvori mailen du vedlægger dit navn, studie nr. samt linje. Hvis der kommer nok deltagere på dette arrangement, så vil vi oprette eventet, med nærmere detaljer efterfølgende sendt som mail. Eventet vil så vidt muligt ligge i eftermiddagstimerne, og vil forsøge at undgå for mange skæve tidspunkter m.h.t. eksamener og 3-ugers kurser. Jo hurtigere i tilmelder jer, jo hurtigere vil jeg komme med en kontret tidsplan.

Hello everyone

I have previously written out about a future possibility to see the industrial brewery of Baldersbrønde Bryggeri A/S, where Nørrebro Bryghus brews all of their conventional beers. The tour as well as information will be in collaboration with their master brewer, Jakob Hørslev Hansen. Due to end-of-semester stress and exams, a lack of feedback concerning demand for the event, and simply not wanting to waste resources on creating events no one actually wants to attend, we offer the following solution:

If you want to participate in this event, please write to [email protected], in which you write your name, student number and field-of-study. If enough participants apply, I will work on making this event become a reality within the nearest future. Any further information will be sent via mail, and I will try to avoid as many exam dates and odd course plans as possible. The event will most likely take place in the afternoon hours. The faster you sign up, the faster I can provide with a concrete plan.

Hej alle

Jeg vil for det første lige sige tak til alle der deltog i tirsdags, det blev til et super godt event!
Jeg arbejder på højttryk efter at kunne tilbyde jer nogle fede events her til næste semester. Jeg har taget til mig, at der har været ønsker om mere introduktion til, hvad SkyLab er. Specielt med de nye container-køkkener.
Indtil da, så vil jeg gerne høre, hvilke events I kunne tænke jer fandt sted her inden semestret er overstået (eller starten af næste semester). Jeg har noget på kaffe (igen) og øl (nørrebro bryghus besøg), men hvordan er stemningen for det? Skal jeg hellere finde noget på a la brødbagningskursus, eller måske vinsmagning?

Thank you so much for participating in the innovation course last week.
I'm working full speed to provide you with some awesome events her for the next semester. I've noted, that you want a more thorough introduction to what SkyLab actually is. Especially in regards to the new container kitchens.
Until then, I'd like to hear what kind of events you want to become a thing before the end of the semester (or at the start of the next). I have some stuff on coffee (again) and beer (nørrebro bryghus trip), but do you want to attend it? Or should I rather find something along the lines of advanced bread baking, or possibly wine tasting?

Hej alle

Jeg bringer en kort nyhedsopdatering, med hensyn på det nuværende semester.
I min event-kalender skrev jeg, at vi i marts ville have et Sky-bar event i marts, mens vi ville have et kursus i osteproduktion af Smagfuld videnskab i april. Dette passer ikke længere, da studielederne gerne vil direkte ind over skylab-eventet og gøre det til et endnu federe event, samt kvinderne bag Smagfuld videnskab har aflyst grundet speciale-skrivning. Jeg beklager denne ændring, og arbejder på at bringe et alternativt event på et senere, endnu ukendt tidspunkt.
Eventet med Nørrebro bryghus i maj er stadig uændret. Nærmere info følger.

Hi everybody

I bring a short update with regards to the current semester plan.
In my event schedule, I wrote that march would bring a Sky-bar event, while a cheese production course was scheduled to april. This is no longer true, as the head lectors would like to directly influence the skylab event (and it’s going to be awesome), as well as the ladies behind “Smagfuld videnskab” has to cancel their event due to overbooking and master thesis. I apologize for these changes, and I’m working to bring an alternate event to replace the latter, on a yet unknown date.
The event with Nørrebro bryghus in may is unaffected. Details will follow.

Jeg glæder mig så meget til at se jer alle i eftermiddag! Det skal nok blive hyggeligt! :)

En lille announcement; dette vil af tidsmæssige årsager blive det sidste event i semestret, hvilket jeg beklager. Jeg havde et økologi-kursus planlagt med Landbrug & Fødevare til starten af det næste år, men blev kraftigt rådet at rykke det da det ville clashe for meget med manges 3-ugers kursus.
Dette vil blive rykket til starten af det nye semester, og vil ikke tælle med i de lovede 4 kurser der skal afholdes i F16-semestret.
Der vil komme en event-kalender ud i løbet af måneden, som vil beskrive hele semesterplanen.

Small announcement; due to time constraints will this be the last event of this semester period, which I apologize for. I had planned an ecology course with Landbrug & Fødevare for the start of the next year, but was heavily adviced to move it, as it would clash too much with the 3-week course.
This will thusly be moved to the start of the new semester, and will not count towards the promised 4 courses in the F16 semester.
I will release an event-calender sometime this month, which will describe the semester plan.

Grundet manglen på tilstrækkelige tilmeldinger har jeg og kursusansvarlig været nødsaget til at aflyse kurset Mexikansk Street Food i morgen, mandag d. 23/11.
Alle, som der har overført penge på nuværende tidspunkt vil blive kontaktet og tilbagebetalt.
