DTU SmallSteps is a platform for co-creation and connecting with the DTU community.
Everything in the app evolves around the SDGs as a common denominator for locating what and who you want to work with.
During the devolopment of DTU SmallSteps, I (the project manager) have spoken with a vast number of stakeholders, management, employees, teachers, researchers and students.
In almost 3 years, I come across so many projects and research that was related to other peoples work at DTU or could use an outside connection, I made. Every time, I have connected these people and projects - or at least mentioned it and let it be up to them to make connect.
It is always met with surprise that there are likeminded researchers. But also excitement.
This is exactly the main focus of DTU SmallSteps. By connecting and co-creating together, being inspired by others or finding synergies, we accelerate the journey towards more sustainability.

Did you know that in one of the sustainable theories, Donut Economy, the right and opportunity to fair elections, are included?
Kate Raworth, the creater of Donut Economy, positions eg. access to education, gender equality and have a voice as an important part of sustainability.
To have a voice and speak it freely as part of your community, is worth celebrating.
To participate in discussions with opposite sides and meet each other with respect.
Happy elections to everyone on this day of democracy!

Being at the People's Climate Meeting 2022 in Middelfart, is super inspiring!
Today, I had the priviledge to hear the author of "Klimapsykologi" ("Climate Psychology") speak. A book I am currently listening to.
At the café, I enjoyed a climate friendly burger. And yes, they had numbers and calculations Concito provided for them.
The manager of Café Mauritz granted permission to share just how much difference you can make - without feeling you change your life style.
It tasted great! :)
Even though it is easy to be hit by a little FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) when you are surrounded by inspiring talks and events, having a real break to clear your mind, is very important.
Stay tuned for more experiences from this event - or even better yet: Come join us - and go to the event in DTU SmallSteps app so we can hang and reflect together.

Sustainability is much more than enviroment, plastics, biodiversity and other physical challenges.
🍃🌿That sustainability is for the well-being of humans, is often forgotten.

Join us for our next Feministisk Forum at April 4th from 17.30-18.30, where we will bring up the exciting topic: "Cultural differences" when discussing feminism. Find the event on FB!
We, in the steering group of DTU Feministisk Forum, are all Danish citizens and after meeting all of You at different events, we've noticed that the status quo of feminism in different countries is very different. This - in combination with the international atmosphere at DTU - leaves us with a huge opportunity to learn from each other.
Together with Carbon and some amazing Feminist Forum enthusiasts, we will present a panel with participants from different cultures to participate in an inspiring Q&A.
Afterwards, we will have group discussions on the topic, where you get to indulge in exciting conversations with your fellow participants.
Everyone - regardless of gender - is welcome! The contents of our forums are as important for men as it is for women (and everyone in between) to address 💜
The forum will be held in English, and it takes place at the auditorium in Skylab at DTU Lyngby Campus. Note that since the event starts after 5 pm, please bring your DTU student card, so you can access the buildings.
