Jacqueline Nuwame wanted to help women navigate menopause. So she built Minimal App. Now it’s part of a €1.6M EU-backed project.

Minimal App is one of three startups selected for Next Phase Femtech, a three-year initiative testing whether femtech can help women stay in demanding jobs like healthcare through menopause, where night shifts and high pressure make symptoms much harder to manage.

Jacqueline, we’re so happy we get to follow along on this one!

Because besides running around the main event, we also started our Day 2 with a breakfast for women and q***r founders & operators. And that deserves a post.

We love building this community and seeing so many amazing people connect!

Among 219 companies tracked in 2025, companies founded by men and led by a woman CEO raised €4.27M. Women-only founding teams raised €1.67M.
